The 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Nexus 6P and LG's G series, which includes the G4, G3 and G2, are now in process.

LG Electronics are now preparing for the upgrade of its flagships and superior smartphone models to Android 6.0.

One of the latest Nexus models, the Nexus 6P, was confirmed to be one of Google's devices to be released on September 29. It was then expected that this gadget will come out of the box having the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, as it was proven by one of the articles of Pocket-lint.

According to The Christian Post, the Korean giant is now preparing for the launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their G Series which includes the G4, G3 and G2. These handsets will be able to receive the Marshmallow update by the end of this year, or early 2016.

This is an indication that LG will skip the Android Lollipop OS, after the newest update for Android was released. It was further discussed that this may not be the best move for LG smartphone users because the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 update will fix bugs and it will bring enhancement to the performance of the devices.

This information has not yet been confirmed by LG Electronics but there were rumors that LG G2 might not be able to get the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

The new Android M is supposed to come up with new advancements like support for Android Pay and USB Type-C. It is also said to come with personalized Chrome tabs, RAM Manager, and Network Reset Option. This update is also rumored to come with several changes to the existing Android features.

The Gospel Herald said that LG's plan to skip Android 5.1.1 is most likely accurate as they have done this in the past. As a matter of fact, the South Korean company had passed over Android 4.4.4 KitKat and upgraded the LG G3 flagship directly to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

LG Electronics is preparing for the release of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to their G series smartphones which include the G4, G3 and G2 as well as the Nexus 6P.
