same. back in the day there was competition of course but it wasn't as cutthroat as it is now. Of course visuals mattered back then also but now people put so much more emphasis on it that its mind boggling. Its more competitive now so the scene had to change but I guess cuz we're older kpop fans we just miss how it used to be. lol I remember the days when kpop male idols used to have actual abs and bodies like 2pm and 2am but now its all these younger kids with slight definition and everyone goes gaga lol :D

There were also tons of avenues for groups to get competitive back in the day too (e.g: Star Dance Battle). But now... idk, I wish more emphasis could be placed on like talent instead of chart sales but then again, that's probably the only real measurable way right?

I'm a "young adult", not a senior yet :hurr:

All in the heart and mind, MOS. Forever young!

am i the only one really impressed with sujeong improvement this comeback? as in the way she performs more than anything. i was really impressed with her in the mv but now that they have to portray a more intense and dramatic song, she does it really well, especially live when she does her one-line part  :rlytearpls:

Ya'll have been sleeping on her all this time. She was great from the beginning. It was just that the cute songs that were hiding her talent.  She naturally has a raspy singing voice, and their cute songs hold that back. When she featured on that Infinite H track, Bump, she showed that she was already awesome. Now that they moved onto a more matured sound, her real voice is being used.

And it's a bit sad to see how Destiny is doing on the charts. But I get what Yoon Sang and Woollim are going for with Destiny. I see it as a song that if you like, you like alot. But it doesn't have the radio friendly quality that Hi~ or Ah-Choo has. I though for sure they would capitalized on Ah-Choo momentum and come out with another radio friendly song. But alas, Woollim decisions are really mysterious sometimes, I can't tell if releasing a song like Destiny is a good move (long term that is) or just a bad one.

As for the rest of the album, it's top notch. It's probably the most consistently good album since Girls Invasion. I hope at least that gains them more fans.

I dont really think Woollim planned on winning with this comeback since they knew that Twice & Seventeen would also be coming out. I think that they are trying to gain them some momentum and recognition so that by the next comeback they'll have a higher chance of winning, since they are only in the beginning of their new trilogy.

If Lovelyz continued to make Ah Choo-like music, they would be marginalized by GFriend, Oh My Girl and even April. And Twice's "precious love" has some Lovelyz's vibes.

She's one of my favorite members so I always pay attention to her and appreciate her vocals, in fact, her voice is one of my favorites in kpop since debut. I wasn't talking about vocals by the way, just her performance.

I second this. It seems as though this is a lead-up to their next two albums, which might be what Woollim wanted to place even more emphasis on.

same here. I'm a 90'er actually. Kpop fans are getting younger and younger and so are the idols. Its weird to think that I came to kpop during the 2pm/bigbang/shinee era and now its a totally different scene

Lol I had a Korean roommate at a camp who showed me a bunch of snsd vids around 2009 and being a guy I was instantly hooked though I didn't actually follow kpop till like 2013. I actually really like the scene now. The scene is more saturated so the songs are a lot better cause companies are trying to get their groups noticed. This new wave of gif groups is actually really decent.
