Hi guys! I had no idea the girls had their own thread or I would have joined waaaayyyy sooner! Please welcome me . Sweetune did all of the girls solo songs so that's probably who they'll be working with for their debut right? I will be happy with anything they release tbh, but I kinda had the image of them doing something like this (below) that's neither cute nor sexy, just fun!

Sweetune made all but one of the girl group songs. She's A Flirt with Baby Soul and Yoo Jiah was written by different composers.

 

But yeah, most likely the girl group will be working with Sweetune.

Yoonsang?!?! Wow!!! I'm totally his fan lol. I actually don't think they'll be a ballad group at all. I think they're going to be verrrrry unique for kpop considering yoonsang's sound. His music has a really "dream pop" feel to it. it gives off a feeling. I've actually been listening to this song of his since he released it a few weeks ago~

I have a strong suspicion that the girls will debut with a kind of fairytale, dreamlike concept. Maybe slightly dark/mystical... perfect for autumn/early winter... That's kinda what yoonsang's sound is all about imo. I would looooooovvvve it if they did. I have a feeling their music,concept, and image is going to be so breathtakingly beautiful. Idk just a feeling.

 

Also, I'm glad that they're not using sweetune. It'll help them build up their own unique sound apart from infinite.

I'm so curious about the girls name?!?!? I just really want to know tbh. I hope it's something simple and chic like infinite. One word names are best imo like sweetheart, eternal, soleil... just something feminine and sweet. And not weird like tasty (I do love the twins though).

Hmm.... lovely image. To me, that means sophisticated and chic, like a classy girl rather than a cute one. I like the idea of a lovely image, it has a nice feeling.

I was just thinking that it would be really cute and nice if the girls could debut on 11/8 so they could have a heart logo. Like the 8 could be turned sideways and form the top and the 11 could go like \/ to form the bottom part. You know? Woollim should let me join their creative team lol.

It's hard to quote using my phone (which is also why I don't reply often, I'm sorry! I'm away from home)!!! but i honestly DO think woollim girls and JYP are the prettiest of the 2014 groups tbh. I like their uniqueness and they have a freshness about them.

 

I also have a feeling that vocally there will be a sungyeol of the group and it will be jisoo. She did leave for a while after all on her own because she felt she needed to work on her singing lol. But I also have a STRONG feeling that I'm going to absolutely love her. Just like I have a feeling about myungeun being a swagged out version of snsd seohyun, and jiae being the visual to end all visuals.

Lol. Woollim delaying the girls even more wouldnt surprise me. I have a feeling that tasty made him way more cautious with debuts. He didnt have any solid plans for tasty and that didnt work out for him. Infinite popularity was actually an aciddent. I guess he doesnt want to leave woollim girls success to chance thus the constant delays. Thinking about it, the more he delays it the more exited i become for this debut haha.

The thing about tasty is that I don't think they were actually supposed to debut when they did. I think they were originally set to debut later in the year which is why their debut seemed kinda random and rushed. Their mom died like literally right before woollim revealed them and it was her dream to see them debut since they were trainees in jyp :(. I think that might have factored into their debut date tbh... they talked about it a couple of times.

They are all so so so cute~! I've fallen in love with jisoo and babysoul.

 

Also, doesn't maknae Yein look just like Yura from girls day?!?! wow. Babysoul looks a lot like Nicole from kara to me too.

They have such a unique vibe for a Korean girl group imo, almost japanese.

 

Why does myungeun look shorter than babysoul? And her hairstyle makes her look frumpy :(. I mean she is SO beautiful but all of these concept photos make her look like lovelyz stepchild vas it's making me mad. But she looks super cute in fantaken a so all is forgiven.

I wonder if woollim isn't speaking up because they are going to have jisoo talk about it herself at the showcase? I mean it will kinda be the elephant in the room. It might be smart since there will be load of articles about the showcase anyways and might bring attention to the false evidence without jisoo having to bring that part of it up.

idgaf, I'm standing by jisoo. There's no reason for me not to. Fake proof and a mob mentality against her only strengthens my stance. Also, police are currently tracing back the ip addresses of the "supposed victims" who are mysteriously unable to come forward. I hope there names are revealed, the same way they threw out jisoo's.

they are so perfect!!! I'm glad to see that they have a lot of fangirls and people warming up to them.

 

"Candy Jelly Love" is such a quirky song. Nothing at all like a kpop song. It sounds soooo Europop meets jpop... like something "perfume" would sing. And the dance is cute! I love the little leg shimmy into the hip shake move. Ugh, I just love it so much.

 

Soojung has a really beautiful lower register. Kei sounds 100% like sunye from wondergirls. Sunye also has those crystal angelic vocals. Hmm... I love them all but I think Kei, mijoo, and jisoo once she comes back are going to be my favorites. They seem like they have a lot of spunk.

I just find it so cute that Ryuvely has NO heels on her shoes while maknae and mijoo just have a small one. But then you see babysoul and kei's shoes and they have like 6in heels on lol.

I think the difference is that this show is mostly watched by adults so the comments kinda reflect that. They are MUCH more objective, which is good for jisoo's case. Watch shady netizenbuzz not even bother to translate it though. Especially since she filters out comments.

 

But on a more positive note, I can't wait to see the girls debut stage tomorrow!!! I also love that the girls seem genuinely close. The fact they left an empty space for jisoo and chose to openly stand by her is heartwarming.

Judging from that bts clip... Jisoo really seems like the super weird but super loveable mood maker of the group :( It's funny because when she was sitting on the bed talking to Yein, I swear they looked like the same person lmao.

 

I really love these girls. They seem so different than any other girl group. They look genuinely happy and close. They aren't trying to be anything but lovelyz and that is so cute. I wonder if woollim specifically picks their groups with that kind of mindset because infinites the same way. Really unique vibe woollim acts have.

I have come to the conclusion that I don't have one bias in lovelyz, I have 8. They're all too loveable for me to decide idk...?

 

Hmm... idk but it seems to me that A LOT more people are finding the possibility of jisoo being innocent a lot more plausible now than before. It makes me hopeful. I want to see her on stage. I feel like it'll really raise lovelyz morale on stage when they're performing as OT8.
