I just wanted to say that I've been gone from kpop for awhile and returned recently and was pleasantly surprised to see this group FINALLY debut at the time of return. They were my most anticipated group since early 2012... I LOVED Baby Soul's "No Better Than Stranger" and "She's a Flirt." They both sound so goood. When it was announced that Baby Soul and Yoo Jia were going to be a part of the next Woolim group, I was so ecstatic. At the time, Infinite was totally breaking barriers for small companies and they are going to come from the same company. I waited 2-3 years...i've forgotten how long... they were rumored to be named Radiance...but I don't know how they ended up with Lovelyz...it sounds very AZN. I'm saddened that Yoo Jia or Yoo Jiae is not going to be with the group... I've listened to the two songs that have MVs and I'm glad they didn't sound bland. They show a lot of promise. Yoo Jia would have been my bias for the group... but I'm glad they've found 6 other lovely girls to fill the group! I'm waiting for a meet & greet or soompi special or something....to buy their album. I love the idea of 2 photocards per album...but then...there's 7 members...lol I might have to buy 4 and trade somewhere... Wait what...there's already rumors surrounding a member of the group.... Have they ever performed as 8 before? How was Candy Jelly Love's choreography supposed to be like with 8 members? Edit: She has horrible rumors against her which led to her not physically or mentally being well enough to promote, which is why they are promoting as 7 for the time being. That's really unfortunate... was she competent enough in reality? Or has the group just decided to temporarily took her off promotions so she doesn't become distracted; or the group doesn't become distracted. Anyways, of the members I've seen so far, I have a lot of favorite members! Baby Soul of course, Yoo Jiae, Jin, Jisoo, and Yein! It's hard to narrow it down to who I like the most! From what I've read, there seems to be multiple sources who corroborate some of the alleged accusations... but I hope she comes out to settle the matter in a peaceful way. StarShapedGummy 11,380 Posted November 29, 2014 Share Posted November 29, 2014 i think her hairstyle was a real turn off for a lot of people who never saw her before. tbh i don't think her initial hairstyle for this debut did her justice, but thank god woollim decided to change up the girls' hairstyles as promotions went along bc now her hairstyle is much more flattering. She looks really beautiful with her hair down <3 I actually find her attractive with both hairstyles. For me, if a girl has attractive facial features, she will be attractive no matter what hairstyle she chooses to go with on any given day. I finally voted for the poll stuck to this thread... very surprised to see Baby Soul's first two songs trying to catch up to all the other songs on the album.... those two songs are what drew me to the potential of a group that would have her as a member. Is she the main vocals btw? Baby Soul has the best chops from what I've heard so far in the lives... I'm surprised Kei has so many votes... I actually prefer almost anyone but her...but she's still cute. I'm surprised that the maknae has garnered so little votes right now too.... she has a hint of taeyeon/suzy look that I thought would be appealing... Mijoo I feel has got a fair amount of votes because it seems, to me, that she's the visuals...and I like that she totally doesn't stand out from the group like some of the other visuals in other kpop groups that makes you forget about the other members... I like how woolim chose this group...every girl is attractive and appealing enough and a lot of them can sing real well; enough to command a song sung by her ie. the first individual songs released. The only question left woulda been if they could dance and I really like the choreography for CJL...which reminds me of snsd's "into the new world" with their wide arm movements.. 3 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StarShapedGummy 11,380 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Jisoo's birthday (some people think Woollim will announce her addition to the group that day but I doubt it TBH) Even though I would think that would be a good thing to say for her birthday day to cheer her up....I think it would be kind of mean to hold out until that many days to say you're back to starting activities with the group again. I'd say do it before her birthday so she gets to celebrate it with the other members of lovelyz and get a totally unexpected bday cake..while they are in the middle of practice or activities. But I hope she can return ASAP!!! I know there was baby soul and Yoo Jia....and some other members who later dropped out. I think Yoo Jiae and Jin were a part of the first iteration of the group as well. Then came Mijoo?
