Angry Mom was really good and took a look at bullying/corruption. The premise may sound odd, but please give it a chance. King of high school might fit, but I haven't actually watched it so I can't recommend, just mention. I would also to find the movie Twenty, it's just after high school/collefe, but it's about friendship and very funny. Does Gu Family Book count since there is a martial arts training school and they are supposed to be around 20 which is 18/19 everywhere else? The dad in that one is so much hotter than the already hot son. Winning family genes for sure. You are all surrounded's story is about events that happened over 10 years ago while a couple of them where students. OK, that is a major stretch, but it's a good drama and the young actors did well. (Another one that centers around events in school in the past would be Unkind Women which was fantastic. It actually has to do with the crazed fan culture.) I'm trying to think a little out of the box to get away from the romance. I loved School 2013 & Reply 1997, so I want to recommend only good dramas. It fits what you want well -- it's not just romance stuff, but also friendship, family matters, sexuality, school violence and a lot of other things. There's music and romance, but also friendships and teamwork. I haven't watched many school dramas tbh, another one I enjoyed was School 2013, but you've watched that already. Similar to dream high, an arts high school type drama The high kick series is fun and has high school students and teachers as some of the characters but it has a very sitcom feel so don't watch it if you want big serious drama I really like ganbatte ikimasshoi, a Japanese drama about a girl who wants to start a girls rowing team at her school. It's an underdog high school sports story about having a dream, teamwork and doing your best. The acting is good too. It's from 2005 though so if you want pretty current styling and things like that save this one for later. Might also be hard to find now cause it's older.
