I mean, Seventeen had tons of tracks pre-debut too and none of them charted anywhere, because they were predebut. When they debut, they can sweep all the awards, don't worry knetz! I can name a handful of groups and solo artists who won on MCD without even performing or promoting the song, same as iKON and all of a sudden out of nowhere they're taken off? Come on now. Idk if I got my story straight, but SNSD won with their comeback stage, while 2ne1 should've won with theirs as well, but Mnet changed the rules for groups to not be able to win with a comeback stage. I don't know what Mnet's deal is, but it doesn't make sense that BB and Busker Busker can win with songs they weren't actively promoting, but Ikon can't. Ikon are not 'predebut' either. Honestly, for my other favourite group, Big Bang, I couldn't care less. But iKON debuted like a week ago and this would have been a nice moment for the boys and a reward for the work of the fandom in supporting them.
