Ellin 269 Posted September 24, 2015 Share Posted September 24, 2015 so met this girl who I share many interests with a few months ago. i really like her and I feel the chemistry. went on two dates and definitely thought she was interested: she'd laugh at my jokes, hold my arm, hug me, text me first etc. asked her out on a date recently but she canceled last minute yesterday because she said she was feeling under the weather. however she never asked to reschedule. now she hasn't texted me in over 5 days. but i don't want to be overly desperate and clingy... ask her out again soon again or wait for her to contact me since she canceled? *totally over-analyzing* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She must have some interest towards you if she went on multiple dates.......If anything maybe its best to wait....but I don't think it'll sound "clingy" if you text her once about how she's doing or something. You can ask her if everything is alright, or wait until she contacts you (which is never guaranteed even if she likes you. What if she's waiting as well?) - She liked you a bit at the beginning but didn't develop further feelings as dates went on. She may like you as a person but knew that you guys were on "dates" so that you probably liked her as more than a friend. So she wanted to stop this...
