advice on team work please?

So I'm doing an assingment my groups won't meet (even talked to the prof about it and still haven't been able to do anything). I really don't know what to do as every team group assingment I had done until now have been good (since I took control of most of the work in the few teams before and they have all worked well but now in these two my brain seems to be killing me and so much stress OTL).

I tried to contact ask them to meet up but still I dont see any results and I don't know what to do.  I wanted to even start my assingment without them (that's just how far I would actually go) but I'm just worried if I do than what would the other team members think of me just doing it all without their input (like saying he/she doing all that without so and so knowing and might even pull the team down).   :._.:  :._.:  :._.:

You really have to be assertive about things if you're stuck with that kind of unresponsive group  Make it clear that you want to get your part done and that they should do their fair share of work. How is the marking scheme? Group mark or individual marks?

if they do care about the team's work, THEY must find solutions and accomodate to the situation, you aren't the only one in the group

The thing is the group all of them know each other for a year and I'm like the new boy whom came into town not knowing anything or anyone and I just feel isolated and ailenated from the group.  :._.:  :._.:

Eugh. Is it possible to switch groups if things really don't work out?

Our first group task is due next week so I really don't know if that's vialbe or not because ther other groups I seen are so ahead of the game. though one thing I'm struggling in is talking to them since I'm the only guy in the group and it;s scary talking to 3 other girls OTL

Aww  Honestly, there's not much advice I can give to you at this point other than being clear with your group members that this project has to be done. If they truly don't respond, then at least do your part. And since there's a peer evaluation afterwards, you can explain your case if it didn't work out well.

Are you in university/college? I've personally had good experiences with group projects in university compared to high school. People are just so much more mature and straightforward, and actually do their work. Don't let them all being girls faze you  Remember, your grades are more important! Unless you have a crush on one of them (..?), they don't matter. You're all just in this temporarily together.
