ervinc 204 Posted September 13, 2013 Share Posted September 13, 2013 i failed a course wherein it will decide my fate for the rest of my life.... =(( lol i exaggerated it's actually just a 0.0 course, just an orientation actually about the course that i should take for next terms. the story is I was able to attend the orientation but during the checking of attendance, i wasn't able to sign-in my name because I came from a different building level. Honestly, I wasn't aware about the checking of attendance until we were told at the end of the session. I came to the officers in charge on that day. I told them my situation. They just told me that I should just check on the officers checking the attendance. I did. I checked on the officer checking my attendance. I don't know if she logged in my name but she took my ID number and my name. And then i left. After the end of the term, I checked on my grades and there i saw the word 'failed'. OTL i'm stressing myself too much about this. This is actually our NSTP course. National Service Training Program. A course adapted to the curriculum of every college student wherein it should build our minds to be patriotic and service-oriented people... IDK this is just a 0.0 course but at the time wherein I will apply for my job and asked why I failed the course I do not know what to tell and if I tell them this i don't know if they will believe me. OTL i'm overthinking right now. OTL this is a part of me. TT_______TT and btw. i will not be able to take again this 0.0 course again until next year and I will not be able to take the next courses until i pass this 0.0 course OTL TT____________TT TL;DR i failed a 0.0 course (just a 3hr orientation about the upcoming courses that i will take) and i do not know what to do with my future. Try to find out what you'd like to do in the meantime. Maybe you'll find completely different classes in another field that interest you. Edna Mode 8 Posted September 13, 2013 Share Posted September 13, 2013 hey, relax, I can relate so much, So here's my story, I had to take this dumb culture class to fill out one of the areas that university requires me to finish (sorta like how you have to take enl and psy etc.) and the class has around 150 student, apparently we had to sign in in front of the door, but that entire time I thought since it was a big lecture attendance wasnt mandatory....turns out it was. I was doing well in the class, regardless of the fact that I would skip (it was a 9 am class) I did most of the homework and got high scores on the tests etc. At the end of the semester I checked my grade thinking I got this one in the bag and I would at least get a B+. turns out I got a big fat F. I was so upset, I think I started having legit panic attacks, I went through like this spiral downwards. very dramatic. Then I realised it aint no big deal just try retake the course if you have to or do better and manage your time better TL;DR I also failed a course for the same reason you did, so I know how this feels, sucks right? She/He is one of your proof. You should try asking him/her for help since she/he knew you and I'm sure he/she remember you... TT_TT and i doubt she'd remember me because there were many people and she did not even looked at my face! she was like too busy to do her task OTL + that orientation was on june 1, 2013. i really doubt she would remember me. about the fees. i don't think i have paid for that orientation however my concern is in the future that 'failed' course will reflect in my records and it could affect me in getting jobs or in getting honors. OTL TT__________TT Awww That's kind of irritating, If its me, I will definitely go to her Don't worry about that, Yours is only NSTP but if your academic grades are high, It will be impossible not to hire you. and it's about your ability in work, LOL My professor told us that he failed his math 3 times and now look at him...
