Should Celebs couple still go public with their relationships?

With all the Breakups happening in 2015, do you guys think it´s wiser for celebs to keep their relationships private and deny it even if they´re caught by Dispatch? The thing is: When the relationship is announced, people may or may not celebrate... but in case both parties go their separate ways, they will definitely suffer the most... unless you´re a A-list celeb well-loved by the public. In this case, people will shield you and protect you from hate comments.

At the same time, some couple just want to chill and show their appreciation and love for their partners publicly... like Han Yeseul and Teddy. Nobody can blame them for that!

On this topic, I agree with Park Shin Hye policy,She said she will never confirm a relationship unless she´s ready to marry that man... even if they´re caught dating. There is more space and even if you break up, that would not be detrimental to your future partner. He/She would not have to be compared to anybody and hardcore shippers would not bring your Ex in every article related to you and your Boo.

Thoughts???

I don't see the point considering they're all too fucking scared to be seen together. It essentially makes it no point to even reveal it. If you're going to admit to dating then don't be afraid to do shit. Nothing will ever change in Korea because every celebrity is too worried about their rabid fans turning on them.

i think it is disrespectful for anyone, including and not limited to dispatch, to stalk celebs to that extent in the first place. it should be made illegal, but it probably won't be because it indirectly drives the entire economy, albeit in a twisted way.

but to stay on topic: it depends on them

I think PSH's approach is smart tbh, especially with the attitude to celebs dating. Deny and get shit for that instead since you're gonna get it anyway, and keep your private life private.

Tho it will always kill me they can't date publicly, we'll never know about some hot idol relationships :rlytearpls:

I think Dispatch and other paparazzi need to stop being so nosy and stay out of celebrities' business like that. If a couple wants to stay private, they should respect that. Also, if a couple does want to make their relationship public, then people need to stop being so butthurt about it and making a big deal out of it.

It´s definitely not okay for Dispatch to invade their privacy like that... at the same time, its kinda entertaining cause we all want to know who´s with who... lol kinda of a love-hate relationship with Dispatch...

honestly it depends on the idol because if someone like an exo member went public their s/o would get ripped apart and shred to pieces by fans. in the end it is up to the people in the relationship themselves

as long as theyre on public property when theyre taking the photos i dont see why it should be made illegal. having to deal with paparazzi comes with the territory of being famous

What about couples that stay known only among their fans??? There are cases where fans know themselves who their idol is dating and they´re keeping it a secret until its revealed to the public. Some couples had been dating for years before going public and their fans already knew about it. That´s pretty cool...

yeah but like the extent to which dispatch goes though? look at the way they've exposed all the couples so far. i doubt they all just happened to be in the right place at the right time. they even followed suzy and lee min ho across the world.

of course its a bit much to fly across the world but all paparazzi are like that because they make money off these kinds of stories, plus i think a lot of couples they expose tend to have leads already so they just follow the rumors and hope to catch them.

Even if they are caught they should just deny it.   Netizens might bitch, but it saves them trouble in the end.   Then you don't have to talk about break ups and the dating scandal doesn't stick as much.

But if they aren't going to deny it, as mentioned above, celebs might as well date happily and publicly.  Most couples admit it, and then hide away out of fear of their fans and eventually break up, probably due to admitting it in the first place.  Seems counter productive.

it's up to the celeb. not everyone you date is a soulmate and worth going through the public drama, but at the same time depending on your career your fanbase could not even care if you where dating a diff person every month lmao. kpop idols/actors seem almost forced into announcing relationships tho tbh. like you only find out when a rumor is confirmed, or they're getting married, or dispatch/fans where stalking someone.

although in the case of idols, dumbing down the whole 'i'm your girlfriend/boyfriend the fans are my only true love' pillow talk to sell cds might be good in helping fans back off/be more understanding too

The problem is not about being caught by Dispatch. It's about whether you're juicy enough to have Dispatch want to choose you for release, and whether your company is willing/able to "buy" the scandal off. Dispatch always catches; they just choose who to release. Not to mention how many releases are for the sake of mediaplay for one of the idols involved.

Ideally, they should not be scared about dating in public, but theres no reason to announce their relationship to public either, unless theyre getting married.

Korean celebs' relationship nowadays are used for mediaplay, and the public are so thirsty for news and gossip about it, so the ideal thing that I mentioned above is almost impossible
