Why do people not realize that they are promiscuous?

Can somebody tell me why my 18 year old friend who has lost her virginity at 15, has slept with over 12 people, one time 3 in the same month, and still feels like she needs to slut shame her other friend who do the exact same? How does she not realize that she changes boyfriends more often than she changes underwear? What makes her believe she has the right to slut shame anybody? Can someone please enlighten a bitch?! Cause a bitch is lost and confused.

And this goes out to like 60% of my female friends. Like what the actual fuck. New boyfriend, or should I say, fuck buddy, every single goddamn month. Still wanna talk about who is sleeping around and who isn't. Rushing into relationships like they actually have hope that something is going to last after all those three week long dick centered relationships they've had in the past. And have the nerve to look down upon others who live the same lifestyle.

Like if your going to sleep around, just own that shit. I've been friends with prostitutes that never put down another female. And then we have girls selling pussy FOR THE FREE. And want to run their traps. GIRL BYE.

Your friends don't have the right to judge anybody but neither do you. There is nothing wrong with having multiple partners (as long as you're safe). The only wrong your friends are doing is being judgemental, but it sounds like you're doing the same thing to them you're calling them out for.

Two mentalities are at play.

1: People judge themselves by their intentions and others by their actions. A views herself as having good intentions, so her behavior is excused in her mind. B, C, D and etc. are judged by their behavior alone, and thus deemed to be bad by A, who doesn't know or care what the thought process behind their behavior is.

2: A "slut" in the first place is somebody who you view as more sexual than you. Maybe B had 4 boyfriends in one month, and A "only" had 3, so to A, B is a slut... But then maybe A has more casual sex outside of relationships than B, so to B, A is the slut. It's all about perspective. If you don't even have one new boyfriend every month then both A and B probably view you as a prude.

So it's not that they don't see their own slutty behavior, it's just that they're being extremely biased in their judgment of people, which is how most people are in the world  :derp:

So you're asking why your friend is slut-shaming her friend, while you're here slut-shaming about her, but you also want girls to not put down other girls?
