I'm super awkward around boys My face is cute / pretty but that's it Does it mean I will never get a boyfriend unless I lose weight? I'm so desperate that I might even accept a confession even if I don't like the guy. Not everyone is shallow believe me, I know it sounds cliche but what matters is personality. I'm not that thin, kinda average.I am super awkward around people,not just boys, I am 19 and never had a relationship. I think if you are social, you have more chance to get a bf/gf lol. -thats not sth i am- It's unhealthy to date with someone just for their looks imo. Not bragging but I am considered as someone with best figure in our Uni. But I don't have a bf cause my personality sucks Frankly you have much better chance at getting a bf cause 1)You have cute face 2)You are 18 (gosh you have a lot of time to be lost cause like meh) 3)You can lose weight too! And the reason that you might be awkward is because you think you are lacking in something. Don't think like that!!!! But then I moved to a big city and had to learn how to advance in my career. Someone told me once that I had to stop being shy and I looked at them like they were crazy at the time, because it didn't seem like a choice. But it is, honestly. Being personable is a skill, just like small talk, and anybody can learn it. Pay attention to more extroverted people and mimic them until you get more comfortable.
