So completed episode 10... if there ever was a drama for me where i wanted second lead, this would be the one. okay maybe 'You're Beautiful' as well, i typically am straight forward with the intended couple the writers set for us. But this one, major Second Lead Syndrome.

Have you guys seen that 90/00s movie of Melissa Joan Hart "Drive Me Crazy"? I only mention that because, the kiss, the couple-ship... what about their parents yo?! You knew this was coming, but my greatest hope for HaJoon and Yeon-Doo is the parents. Just because, like didn't his dad just propose to her mom, so that's a serious commitment type thing. They like each other a lot, to get to that point, am I wrong? So what happens when the kids find out? When the parents find out? Who is suppose to give up? I'm no a parent, so I couldn't think what I'd do in the situation, give up my relationship for my kid? At the same time, just cuz you're a single parent, or a divorcee, does that mean you aren't allowed another shot? If two adults are happy together, is it okay for them. to break it off cuz their kids are dating? i am of course pulling on the assumption that yeon-doo mom says yes to the proposal, and then yeon-doo and kim yeol become step-brother and step-sister. granted it's not wrong in the sense they won't be blood relatives, and i've seen step-cousin relationships, but step-bro/sis? maybe it's because i'm older and that's why I'm thinking of the adults and their situation. I don't know if anyone else thought of that, or just me. lol.

Soo-Ah - we always knew she was bad, and this drama was a bit predictable in what would happen. But I felt like she was always made so that we could always hear her side, or relate to her. The biggest villian in the drama is still the school principal and soo-ah's mom. You knew soo-ah was acting tough and putting up a front, i'm not saying it excuses her, but you knew. and i knew that Dong-jae would be a big part for her, and she for him. I mean they showed once hajoon understanding or sympathic with Soo-ah but you always knew dong-jae was gonna be her guy. the principal though, hate her for sure. lol.

still enjoyable. can't believe how fast this drama seem to go by. it was definitely fun.

If they're screwing up my otp by making them step siblings I'm seriously going to be so mad

For the love of god please let yeol and yeon doo end up together

i bet we'll get an open ending

well....at least it's better than having YeolDoo as step siblings

I don't know if it's cause although I liked the couple together, but didn't feel strongly about it, but I felt how they revealed their relationship to the parents was a bit selfish.  Yeol knew his dad was considering marriage.  It's just I thought for a middle aged couple to be broken up for kids who aren't even in their senior year of high school yet doesn't really make sense.  If they even thought about it for a bit the chances of them breaking up and then making the parent's break up pointless is pretty high... But I guess that's just me.

This reminds me of evil besides you, the same plot about parents getting married and step siblings having a relationship, at the end both couples keep being together and forget about what people have to say. wonder if the end here will be the same

I don't see how them dating and not getting married changes much....

At least they are still in love and together and didn't give up completely on their love for the sake of their kids.

a marriage certificate does not define how much they love each other. the only change they would see from getting married is 'living together'.

besides, some couples in the world stay as couple, they dont feel the need to 'marry' :P (ofc in this circumstance the dad wanted to marry yeon doo's mom but she never said yes remember :P even before she found out.. so maybe she is one of those people who dont necessarily wish to get married.. (again..) in her case..)

I meant it in the way that how is that any different from them getting married?  Like how does it solve the problem? It's basically the same regardless of whether they were married or not.  The rumours could still be there and the reputation still kind of the same.  And well technically they could start living together when they're dating anyway.

As for YeonDoo's mother it seemed her biggest reason for saying no was because of YeonDoo and not because she didn't want to get married again.

How can those scriptwriters do this all to Hajoon. T.T I hate them for it.

are you talking about the ending when yeol was mad at ha joon? i don't think he's mad at him for liking her he's mad because he thinks that the reason he quit is because of her, i don't think yeol has a problem with him like yeon doo he just won't give her up for him (which is understandable). his dad is faaaaaaaar worse than soo ah's mom which is quite the accomplishment. I feel sorry for him - he needs to go to jail for child abuse.

I mean ...

1. he is part of love triangle and love girl who dont love him

2. as cherry on the cake the girl is his bestfriends girlfriend

3. his father is an asshole to the point of beating him

4. after he found something he liked and more friends, they made him quit the club by blackmailing him

5. even his grades are dropping

And in the end even Yeol is mad at him and he could be smart enough to smell something fishy after the scene withHajoon's dad and the principal.
