maidoan97 743 Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 I enjoy reading different opinions but when people start to go off topic I'm just like "I'm outta here" Especially people in country, some of them often start to curse at each other like "fuck", "b*tch", "p*ss", etc..., even cursing each other's parents and I just roll my eyes like wtf can't people argue politely or what. That is when I know it is my cue to leave Sometimes the ones who started it tried to be polite but then some sensitive people had to curse back and... here we go again... But other than that, i find fan wars amusing and interesting, watching people piss themselves over people who don't even know they exist. I understand being passionate about something, but it's just another one of those 'lose faith in humanity' type of things. There are moments when it can be comical, but then again it's just kinda sad. It starts with someone getting hurt or offended, which is partially their fault, but then it's also partially the fault of the offending party for being an ass in their presentation. kpop seems to be the only place where i seen fandom dictate to a 'one or the other' type thinking. i'm a fan of lots of artists, and things, and it's rather annoying to see fans go on each other within that group of likes. I don't see why people just can't get along, and respect someone for liking something else. if you have to belittle someone for your viewpoint, you're doing something wrong. Except for Pluto, pluto is a planet and all you suckers are wrong about that! My friend is from LA so he's a lakers' fan and hates rockets fans and the rockets, and texans fans and texans, cuz he says the fans are intolerable. but then to me i'm like, you're from another place and you're in a city where people like their hometown team, of course you would find those fans intolerable because they don't like your team. If i was in LA, i would find all LA fans intolerable. Then again, sports fandom seems way more chilled than kpop fandom, (minus the occasional stabbing and fights that occur at stadiums).
