07.01.2014 - Fans raise funds to plant a 'Leeteuk Forest' in honor of his birthday

 

 

Super Junior's Leeteuk turns 32 (international age: 31) on July 1, and fans celebrated his birthday as well as upcoming discharge from the military by establishing a 'Leeteuk Forest'!

 

Fans wanted to do something extra special for Leeteuk's 32nd birthday and return to civilian life through 'Tree Planet's 'Star Forest Project', which allows fans to raise money to plant a forest in a star's name, since March. They surpassed their goal by raising a total of 6.5 million KRW (~6,400 USD) to plant approximately 300 trees near the SBS Prism Tower and MBC headquarters.

 

His fans shared, "We are proud to plant a forest in Leeteuk's name in honor of his upcoming discharge and birthday. As this is a forest made with fans' united heart, we think that it will be a meaningful forest for Leeteuk and his fans, and we ask that the forest may serve as a resting place for many people."

 

Leeteuk will be discharged on July 29.

Leeteuk mini-fan meeting on 29 July 2014 in Seoul!

To prevent chaos and crowding of the other military personnels who are also being released on the same day, Leeteuk will do any media interviews/fan greetings at the release site. SM asks all fans to cooperate.

Instead, Leeteuk will do a small fan meeting in Seoul on the evening of 29 July 2014. Due to the small venue, only a limited number of people will be able to attend. Online application to participate in this small fan meeting and other details will be made available soon.

Please understand that due to the impromptu nature of this small fan meeting, it will be a really short event.

Hoping for updates on his private fanmeeting. Apparently it'll be for 700 (?) hundred people and priority will be given to official ELF, korean ELF and International ELF, in that order. Fair enough imo. Hopefully media won't be there to create articles on his private fanmeeting because the only reason why it's private is because he wants to be discharged silently but still be welcomed by a few of his fans. Apparently the name list wasn't revealed by SM yet though

*teuk first was like take as many pictures u want! then fans said stafs dont allow then he was like then no pictures n told us not to post any voice recordings either, to keep the fan meeting just between us

when hyuk came on screen, teuk was like oh he has gotten handsome!

Angels have been doing great charity projects to celebrate Leeteuk's discharge. First a forest in his name, metro advertisements, 8 tons of rice donation and now SEE Leeteuk project. Leader is probably very proud of them. I know I am
