Thank you for this post! I couldn't have said it better myself and totally agree with everything you said! I've posted the following paragraph in one of the news article helping to debunk some of K-ELFs claims of what Sungmin supposedly did.

 

"The least their supposed "Angel" leader should do is to speak up and confirm if Sungmin has asked his permission to marry at his family's funeral or not and also since he's the leader, he should be able to confirm point #4 about Sungmin's schedules as well. His continued silence is disgusting and it made me feel that Leeteuk's big talk about sacrificing and protecting SJ and its members all these years have all been lies! I used to cry whenever I see him cry on stage. Now, I want to throw up because it just look so fake! If it hurts him that much to be without his member, then speak the hell up and tell the truth!!! Also, SM should confirm point #5 if they have any hope of keeping Sungmin with SJ. Stop crying on stage and just speak up about the truth already! What are they so afraid of? Backlash from those crazies? What backlash??? Is there something wrong with telling the truth? People have been defending members about keeping quiet for the last 3 years and say they may be supporting Sungmin in private. Well that's nice and all but what good does that do for him since he's been thrown under the bus publicly and no one seems to be doing anything about it! At least tell the truth and back him up. If the team stands together and come out with a united front to support Sungmin, are they afraid those crazies will boycott the entire team? Well, if those crazies are so unhappy with the entire team, then they can just leave the fandom altogether and move on to torture another group!!! SJ/SM continued silence is cowardice and it just shows the crazies they were right all along. How about starting another subgroup called Super Junior-I (International) and promote exclusively overseas then! Forget those crazy K-ELFs. The world will welcome all members of SJ with open arms and we'll even let you keep your private lives to yourselves!!!"

 

I am not targeting Leeteuk personally and I used to think he really was an "Angel Leader" who will protect SJ to the end. However, he is the voice of SJ and there are points that has to do with him personally (i.e., Did Sungmin ask for his permission to marry during his family's funeral?) that he can definitely back Sungmin up and say that it never happened (if that in fact is true!). Again, he remained completely silent and instead posted his dog on IG the day his brother came out to withdraw from all upcoming activities just showed incredible insensitivity to a suffering member who has been with him for almost 20 years and whom he's been saying for years he'll protect with his life! At that moment, I've lost all respect for Leeteuk and everything he said and do now seems fake to me. I can't even stand to look at his face or listen to his voice without my stomach literally turning!!! I am sorry to all the Leeteuk supporters. It is your right to continue to support him but this is how I feel and I am entitled to my own opinion!

 

For the life of me, I will never understand why SJ/SME never come out with a single statement to support/defend Sungmin! If he is really so bad for the team or the company as a whole and SJ/SME want him out then just go ahead and cancel his contract. Let his fans and supporters know that he's out of SJ for good and move on!!! Instead, their complete silence just fuels the fire for K-ELFs and inadvertently confirmed that everything K-ELFs said are true! What a bunch of cowards!!!

 

Last point. I absolutely adore Eunhyuk and was so happy to see how much love he has received during his discharge from the army. However, the happier I feel for Eunhyuk, the sadder I feel for Sungmin. He really deserves so much better from his own members and the public. I am completely heartbroken for Sungmin and could not even imagine what he's going through right now!!! I love some of SJ members too much to leave them altogether. I will support anything Sungmin does in the future and might continue to support SJ D&E and K.R.Y. However, SJ as a whole is not the same to me anymore and without all members' voices, they also won't sound the same to me. I can't honestly support this year's CB or any future CB for that matter unless they actually come back with all 11 members. Until then, I'll just listen to the old songs and reminisce on the good old days!

 

I don't know to react about this issue but, Leeteuk really disappointed me.

 

 

I really really felt sorry over Sungmin, 

He doesn't deserve this.

 

 

 

 

It really breaks my heart when some ELFs and non-ELFs blame LT&HC on this issue of being cold to Sungmin.

 

I hope they can resolve this issue, before the comeback,
