Maybe it's just me, but I don't get annoyed over irrelevant polls' results like the one afore mentioned for exemple. Especially when irrelevant and biased people are the ones voting. You can clearly see that was another of those 'vote for our bias' thread when you see that Taeyeon has all those many votes. She's the girl who said that being a leader of her group was a huge weight in her shoulders, the weak one who refused to lead her own group publicly and also is the same one that doesn't get along with many members of her group and possibly creates anymosity among them. She's anything but a leader. A girl like her has tons of votes in that poll, yeah ...   

 

What truly matters in this case is that Leeteuk was chosen as the Best Leader by the industry insiders and other idols for 3 years in a row. Voted by people who know him, work with him directly or indirectly and interacts with him often or even on a daily basis. He's not SM's spokeman out of nothing either. His leadership skills were multiple times proven, he seriously doesn't need to prove anyone anything anymore. 

 

Even with his enlistment, no one can't say a word about his profissionalism and leadership skills and this is what is probably biting everyone in their asses. Not only he protected Super Junior's dignity by treating his back so he could enlist as a soldier instead of a public service personel, he was praised by his perfect shooting marks and leveled up to lead his own squad in record time. In addition, he's one of the few celebrities who wasn't involved in any type of scandal while serving, had the decency to not tweet a single word while a soldier even though he could use Twitter in his free time, refused to go to the hospital when he injured his back in the army so press wouldn't report about him having special treatment and was highly praised by loads of other soldiers (even the ones who didn't work with him directly). He did and still does everything to protect Super Junior from bad press. He doesn't succeed in all his trials though.

 

Leeteuk mentioned before that if he wasn't an idol, he'd persue a politician carreer. Leeteuk was also the representant of his class year after year in his school days. Therefore, he's a natural leader. Super Junior members have always affirmed and praised Leeteuk in that aspect. During all those 8 years, any member ever questioned Leeteuk's position and I'm yet to see if they ever will. Remember when members said that Leeteuk used to call them individually to his room and have serious conversations about Super Junior and their personal lives and if they want something to change in order to have a better relationship with each other? Remember when Leeteuk had to bow down and lower himself to ask for other groups fans' to cheer on Super Junior because ELF weren't able to be there? Remember that Leeteuk said Donghae's father personally asked him to take care of his son before passing away? Remember that Leeteuk said he personally checks every single member before stepping on the stage? All the afore mentioned things are things a leader should do to protect and take care of his group. And Leeteuk does all those things with perfection.

 

Maybe many of his haters and sadly some other ELF refuse to acknowlede that, but Leeteuk played a huge part in Super Junior's longlasting career. I honestly think Super Junior wasn't to last this long if Leeteuk wasn't there to gather everyone together and lead members into the right direction. Even today, he still mentions Hangeng, Kibum and other missing members because of enlistments in his speeches. 

 

Contrary to what people think, Leeteuk isn't only highly respected by the industry insiders, he's also highly respected by general public. Adjummas and adjussis from South Korea - and some others from other Asian countries - absolutely adore Leeteuk because of his respectable and professional image.

 

Having said all that, I don't think an irrelevant poll made in a certain k-pop forum dominated by a certain fanclub known to be Leeteuk hater and even had the guts to formulate a nickname for him *coughMosquiTeukcough* because Leeteuk called them out a few times years ago will change anything.

Bugs Music conducted a poll from June 14th to June 21st with the question: Which of these artists has the best leadership? The poll had a total of 4,780 votes and Super Junior's Leeteuk came out on top. The results were: 1) Super Junior's Leeteuk (58% - 2760 votes) 2) SS501's Kim Hyun Joong (22% - 1019 votes) 3) Big Bang's TOP (8% - 350 votes) 4) CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa (301 votes) 5) Hot Potato's Kim C (242 votes) 6) MBLAQ's Lee Joon (80 votes) For some odd reason they replaced Big Bang's leader G-Dragon with TOP and MBLAQ's leader Seung Ho with Lee Joon. Many people stated that it's amazing how Leeteuk is in charge of 12 members and the group is already on their 4th album. He's a very caring person who takes care of and looks after his younger group mates

 

 

Kyuhyun complimented Leeteuk by saying, “Because the leader has to listen to all the members’ opinions. Leeteuk never gets biased and treats everybody equally. He even lets them lead when the need arises.â€

He added, “He gives us more opportunities, and he himself stays humble. The reason behind our good teamwork is Leeteuk.â€

 

 

According to netizens, it’s the 13-member group Super Junior leader Leeteuk. He has been selected to have the best looking leadership for an idol group in the community portals. On those sites, from the 16th to the 23rd, they had to answer the question “Which leader do you think has the best leadership?†When the survey was done, the results were announced on the morning of the 24th.

According to the survey, the oldest member and leader of super junior Leeteuk got 15,724 votes (34.2%) out of the 45,928 people voting, which gave him the first place. Netizens said that “the 13 members have been led wisely†and that’s why they gave Leeteuk a high score.

SonyuhShidae Taeyeon got 10,171 votes (22.1%), Dong Bang Shin Ki’s Uknow Yunho got 9,850 votes (21.4%) making them 2nd and 3rd of the survey. SS501′s Kim Hyunjoong, SHINee’s Onew, and 2PM’s Jaebum were following in the top.

Kim Heechul who is the same age as Leeteuk admired his leadership, which is different from everyone else: “He always puts the members before himself†and “even if he gets angry at his dongsaengs in the end he gives them a tight hug and says he is sorryâ€.

^^ it's not like we said we don't care like whatever people did to him we accept it. but why should 140-160 peoples on this forum changed our mindset for him. we know what he did for his group, we can make 1001 facts why Leeteuk is best leader and still people who hate him will still choose him.

like i think i choose Vic or Kris on those polling because i don't see much from them this past years, did my opinion true for their fans though? ofc no. my vote probably also irrelevant like what i said for all those people who voted for Teuk. they can list hundred facts why their favs is best leader, still it can't convinced me to have same opinion as them.

we agree to disagree though.

 

my bias is not Leeteuk, but God knows how many time i defend him before. how many times i used to care much to reply to every bashing posts for him. i did that for years. did that change his haters opinion about him? no. they will still hating no matter what. so i stop, because dealing with endless rant for him just wasting time. better spread love for him.

noone should bother anyone with stupid poll though.

I seriously gave up on trying to defend him, it's pointless. I'll lose my patience and will fatigue myself and I won't change anything, Actions speak louder than words and I'm confident in his actions so no efforts will be done by me whatsoever.

I've seen some other KyuTeuk gifs on internet and they are all very cute, Kyu keeps hugging Leader all the time lol I wonder why I never noticed their interactions before.

regarding all those pros and cons about him, to me he's still the best leader. among active groups now he's still the best.  won't mention Eric because he's on his own league

To my best E.L.F. concerned by love, looking forward to seeing and missing,

In every exhausted day, it is every letter from you makes me touched in tears and encourages me to persevere remorselessly. Appreciate for giving me huge strength!   

One year passed and seems it has been a very long time no sending greetings to you all.

The left 8 months of my military life is counted down by marking on the calendar. Just look forward to seeing you again, miss your joyful smile and enjoy the time.

Unconsciously, it has been 8 years since our debut. It is the first time cannot spend such a nice day without my love that caused me down.    

To members who really kept running hard in the past and now, as well as fans who kept running with members together and giving us endless love, I want to communicate such words: always be grateful to you and loving you.
