do you see it as something negative or positive? or are just neutral?

i was recently in the comments of BTS's 'dope' music video and it was flooded with new people who were thanking the finebros for getting them into kpop etc, so it made me think about how much kpop is growing to a wider audience...

now obviously this isn't a new thing as the kpop 'fandom' has always been growing but what are your thoughts?

I do not think it's increasing in popularity.

There will always be a period where it increase in popularity and few years later the popularity will also be lost.

I am fine with the increase in popularity.

For my country, the Kpop wave happened years ago and I have been through that. Though I remember getting sick of the song I was addicted to months ago playing everywhere I go.

The idols deserve more recognition, half of the songs and MVs produced in this industry are 10 times better than western music and MVs which get more recognition.

Settle down, the Western pop scene has declined massively over the years but let's not pretend K-Pop is much better. Also consider that most if not all K-Pop groups try to replicate songs from Western artists.....

I dont think Kop popularity is increasing. It just gets some excited new fans. its already down here at my country. This year also there are not alot kpop concert are held in Asia. Before this companies are racing to bring kpop artists to their country.

Now it just a normal fanmeet or close event.. Just for example the concert at Indonesia that SNSD supposes to go last year ( I think). Until now, no news about it.

I dont think the popularity has increased, Kpop was huge 2011-2013 and it started decreasing last year... In fact even Korea is losing interest in Idol Groups. Of course its getting new fans but not as much as it did in its peak, but I am glad that the Fine Bros are getting new people into Kpop and i <3 Dope  :rlytearpls:

I just wish they had included LH  :hurr:
