I wouldn't call her a screw up, that's a bit harsh... but in reality, it's kind of rude to draw on a gift.  This young girl though, it seems like she could breathe and someone would say she's doing it wrong.  While I am of the mindset that you shouldn't draw on a gift that someone spent their money on, I do believe people need to back up and stop trying to beat this girl down over everything she does.
