Who are the girl groups whose comebacks failed this year?

Rainbow - Black Swan

KARA - Cupid

T-ara - So Crazy

Who did I miss?

Not trying to stir shit or anything, since I like all the groups I named lol.

I think Ring My Bell was sort of a fail for GsD but it isn't a total flop. Other than that.. Kara's and T-ara's but both of them have been on a noticeable decline for awhile so it's not something new for them

Ever heard of the saying "Every cloud has a silver lining"?  When reading that other thread, I couldn't help but think that if not for their contract renewal and 9/30 happening, SNSD would have received the same treatment that SM dished out to SuJu and be on this list...

Yep, RMB didn't fare that bad on the charts, but compared to Something and Darling it's a fail.

ehm hurt locker didn't fail? didn't it do better than their last song?

but we aren't just talking about it compared to their last comeback. when I think of a failed comeback I think of a comeback where the song didn't do well on digital charts (did hurt locker even chart at all?), the album didn't sell well (if there was an album), and they didn't get any attention or get any variety shows or anything because of it. That equals a failed comeback in my book. If The OP can put Girls' Day- Ring My Bell, I can put hurt locker.

Yeah, that was sad  :._.:

Hmm probably. You Think flopped though, but Lion Heart saved the day even though it was a rough start. We'll have to wait for the next comeback and see if they're gonna be given the SuJu treatment, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

so your standard for success comeback is they need to surpass their last digital/album sales?

No, otherwise I would have put SNSD, Apink and other groups too lol. Ok, since people are complaining about Girl's Day, I'll just remove them from the list.

Welll

Drama was their best doing song/album before hurt locker was released.

not sure about the charts but I heard Hurt locker did better than Drama and up before hurt locker was released Drama was the best in sales etc.

also nine muses is doing varieties and they're getting gigs, hyuna was recently featured in an MV

so no it did not fail at all
