1. [+271, -15] I don't think it's about idols singing well.. I think it's that there is no more room for good singers to stand so they become idols instead

2. [+128, -25] If only Uji had better luck, she could've become the best

3. [+142, -95] Solji out of the female idols, Yook Sungjae out of the male idols

4. [+19, -10] They really were good yesterday

5. [+16, -5] Solji, Luna, Sandeul, and Yook Sungjae got a lot of attention because people didn't expect much out of idol vocals but now everyone knows that they'll be good so the ones after are getting less attention

6. [+15, -3] Where's SPICA's Kim Boa? I was really surprised by her

7. [+12, -8] Uji's always been good, even been in musicals. Just that her group isn't doing well.

8. [+10, -3] Kyah, Uji really is good at singing

9. [+8, -6] Hope they use this opportunity to hit it big

idk...some idols just want to sing,  all the extra stuff that comes with being a idol is a bonus.

TBH I think it is also a function of idol songs themselves being of generally low quality. Very few of them are vocally challenging because they have to allow room for the "rappers" and "dancers" to keep up, and even the best idol singers typically get stuck singing a few lines in a crappy, watered down song. Being on their own means a chance to sing a song better suited to their talents and gives those with real vocal talent the chance to shine that they might not otherwise get in their groups.

I totally agree... fame is really weird... you could go on the same program, do the exact same thing somebody else did and still not getting famous... guess it´s all about a mix of talent, luck and TIMING!!!

This is similar to the "REAL MEN" situation: the program shot several celebs to fame... but right now, those who go are labeled "FAME-Hungry" and receive less attention...

one thing i'm quite thankful for that sandeul went on the show early. He got a good amount of attention and praises (might be more than Luna at some point) which he truly deserves from Day 1 of his career.

Now, i'm just waiting for international kpop community to open up to him and the rest of B1A4.
