Does your mood/state get affected by what colours you wear?

I remember reading somewhere that different colours can affect your mood in specific ways. For example, the colours red and yellow supposedly make people feel hungry... (I see what you did there, McDonald's :imstupid: )

I never really gave it too much thought until today, when I wore my new yellow sweater ( I usually don't wear yellow), and for some reason, I was just CONSTANTLY HUNGRY, like what the heck?! :horror:

Anyone else ever had bodily state or mood affected by the colours you wear? Or am I just weird. :rlytearpls:

I like wearing dark colors and I feel fine. They give off a comfy vibe.

I hate bright colors and any shade of yellow hurts my eyes.

I don't mind other people wearing yellow, but personally,on me, its a no.

edit: Japan changed some of their street lights from yellow to blue and saw a decrease in suicide rates.

No, my mood is not affected. Still, wearing black is the best. I feel comfy.

Professionally, I try to wear greys, blues, or sometimes red for a splash...those are power colors for me.

Also, when I put glasses on ppl think I am smarter...what's up with that? Never understood that.

I don't get affected by the clothes I wear color wise, but if there's a strong amount of a certain color around me, then sure, it'd affect me to some degree. For example, cooler tones are by far more relaxing for me environment wise but if I was surrounded by something that was either warm or loud, I'd likely not feel the same type of relaxation.
