25%Cotton 7,133 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 i was making myself japanese curry (i live in japan, so i do this quite a lot), and tonight of all nights for no reason in particular i decided to put a lot of work into it. but the curry still came out thin. "whatever. next time you'll do better," i sighed after all that effort. so i took a bite... it was quite bland. spiced it up with some random other ingredients from my fridge. decided to go get some water. "oh look, it's the can of curry powder... it's so clean, almost as if i never opened it to use it in the curry i just made." ... I MADE FUCKING CURRY AND DIDN'T EVEN PUT CURRY IN IT. i can't tell my friends because i don't want to bring dishonor on my family or dishonor on my cow ;; what do. India and Thailand are the curry masters. oddly enough, as somebody who loves spicy food to death (yes, i know that japanese curry is not spicy), i really dislike thai food. indian curry is really good, though <3. better than japanese curry but japanese curry + udon or katsu is kind of epic, too. I didn't have enough curry powder on hand so it's kind of on the bland side.... I also may have made too much rice... To sue the company you need to hire a lawyer and legal fees are expensive, use that money to buy Seungri's upcoming Japanese album instead and attend his fanmeet in Japan! Haha :p I'm lazy so I usually use the blocks (House brand Java is the best imo~), but I've made it from scratch too. I like it best with lots of takuan and beni shoga.
