Things are already firing up on the second season of 'Unpretty Rapstar 2'! 

 

On the very first episode, which aired on September 11 at 11pm (KST), the contestants partook in a cypher which gave them a brief chance to showcase their rap skills. During this cypher, Hyorin and YG trainee Su Ah received much criticism from the other contestants. 

Ash-B put Hyorin on the spot with lines that went, "Let's get real here. Is Hyorin a rapper? You don't know yourself yet. Find your true worth on 'Inkigayo.' You probably feel the alienation." 

Truedy targeted YG trainee Su Ah, looking directly at her while spitting, "Your label is YG. Your face is still girly. I'm gonna watch and see if you're really friendly." 

 

Su Ah and Hyorin better show these two that they are messing with the wrong girls! The competition shows no mercy for anyone.

Just a reminder that you all probably shouldn't rely on on translations to judge lyrics.  The only way you can actually judge is if you know are fluent in the language, or maybe, MAYBE, if you have a really really good professional translator. If I was an amateur translator, I can even make Shakespeare's rhymes look like a 4th grader. 

 

Amateur translations should be read for meaning, not to judge the writing.

I don't get it- from all the clips i've seen thus far, the only one whose raps actually sound good and seems to have any ounce of flow is Yezi.... I don't understand the lyrics so I know I'm missing a part of it but a rapper's ability to FLOW is universal and doesn't require a translation. Not one of these other girls have demonstrated that. They all just flail their arms around and make grunting noises, its like a cosplay of western rap I JUST CAN'T

 

 

Not sure why everyone is on Truedy's d (and downvoting anyone whose criticizing her) because she honestly doesn't sound any better than the rest.
