Which balance of dance skills in a group do you prefer?

A lot of the earlier kpop groups, especially girl groups, have stand out dancers who are significantly better than the rest of the members. ex. SNSD, 4Minute, Chocolat, BIGBANG, Super Junior

 

It seems now agencies are focusing less on a "main" dancer and having all the members be pretty equal to each other, or at least not letting the best dancers outshine the others and focus more on synch. ex. A Pink, GFRIEND, EXID, BTS, GOT7

Better not to have a standout dancer since you don't have to give them dance breaks then

I would say that its better to have members who are all decent at dancing because of course being well rounded is better. However, I feel sad for the members in groups with equal dancing skills because that means the main vocalist is also a decent dancer and we all know singers trump dancing in the eyes of knetizens. The main vocalist will end up getting all the attention  along with the visual because they both dance well and then all the other members are forgotten. When there is divide between the singers and the dancers, every member gets to feel like they have a role that makes them important.
