Kim Jong Kook Enters Free Market After his Contract with Urban Networks Expired

"KJK's contract with UrbanWorksEnt has expired as of last week according to one of the staffs. After the contract was over, KJK left with the staff members he came to UrbanWorks with. He is going to work individually for now and try to look for a new company during this time. "

This is probably one of the reasons why KJK did not release his album yet because his contract will end during middle of his album promotions (Guess). UrbanWorks Ent. helped KJK with his international concerts and fan meetings. It probably was the most organized Ent. company that KJK was in. Thank you! (Turbo company was horrible. Companies after that was not great either. And KJK's company was not big enough to support KJK)

KJK is a pretty big name on the free agency market. Hopefully, KJK can find a great company that can help him with his album, international schedule, and etc. And as always, KJK is taking care of his crew. He probably sacrificed a lot financially due to loyalty. That's why we are fans, right? Hopefully, his album can come out this year.

Looks like our guess was correct. According to this news article, UrbanWorks Ent. group's music dept. is disappearing with KJK and Soya (his niece)'s departure.That is why he is probably not resigning with them because he needs support for his music activities and Urban Works Ent. cannot really do that for them.

Kim Jong Kook is now working alone and is looking around for companies. His schedules still follow through accordingly despite his contract expiration, but as a standalone personally.

I hope he ends up wherever him and his people are treated best. He's worked really hard and deserves to have a great backing.

 

But I don't know if I could see him at a large company. He might want way more control than they would be willing to give. If he was just an entertainer I could see him going to FNC,but as a musician...I don't know how much they would be willing to have no say on. It's not like he's only been around for 4 years, he will have very clear opinions. It will be interesting to see where he ends up
