While fans are getting excited over news about Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany andTaeyeon dropping solo albums this year, SM Entertainment has stepped forward to clarify that the release date for Taeyeon’s album is still up in the air.

Previously, industry insiders revealed that Taeyeon would be up first and release her solo album in October, but SM has now denied these claims.

A SM representative revealed, â€œWhile we are indeed preparing for the release of Taeyeon’s album, the release date and other details have yet to be decided.â€

Known for her clear and powerful voice, Taeyeon has taken part in numerous drama soundtracks, and her arguably biggest hit is “If†from the “Hong Gil Dong†OST.
