Yes! I'm learning it at the moment. My mom is nearly deaf but she doesn't need sign language since she can read lips xD lol but I'm still learning it xD It's pretty easy!

As much as I love music, I couldn't live my life depending so much on others as blind people do.

I would really miss sounds - and music especially - but I'd choose rather being deaf than blind. I do and enjoy too many things visually to not want to see anymore.

i could choose to be blind and get a cornea transplant later, but not being able to see the faces of your loved ones will be hard

 

or i could choose to be deaf and learn ASL, but i won't be able to hear the sounds around me

Of course, I would never ever in my life want to go either, but I would probably rather be blind. My sister has a friend and he is blind, she talks to him all of the time and they are really close. He get's around just like anyone else, which is amazing. He still has his music and can communicate with others, I see the way he enjoys himself and does the things that he does and I suppose one can adapt to such a condition.

 

I have deaf neighbor, too. It seems like things are a bit more challenging though, not everyone can read sign language and writing things isn't always convenient either. I remember I had to register a deaf patient at work, that was something. 

 

Either way, I would have to lose my abilities and senses after I've lived this long with them. I suppose I would adapt, but it would never be the same.

I don't wanna lose both senses but I'd rather be deaf than blind. It'll be hard not to hear music and people's voices but I think it'll be harder for me to not see my surroundings and my loved ones faces/smile. 

 

Unless I was born blind or deaf, but since I have both senses I'm more afraid of going blind so I'd rather be deaf.
