I LOVE Red Velvet, been following them since their debut and have loved every single releases they had. BUT, The Red is so underwhelming. I can't believe this is actually their album. The music is soooo boring, there's nothing special about it, absolutely no soul. The only song I really like is "Cool World". It just sounds like they wanted to go "american style" or something, I don't even know. Also, I was expecting more smooth, r&b, Automatic like songs. And NOPE. Sooo.. yeah... I'm so dissapointed "Dumb Dumb" , I don't like it either. The M/V is cool asf but that's about it. So yeah, i'm ready for the negs, but I wanted to say this to whoever. I liked it, it was a very solid album in my opinion. I like their more upbeat songs more than their smoother songs, so that may play a role. I could never put my finger on it, but albums coming out of SM just never did anything for me as a whole. That is until The Red. Not mad, it is more on their 'Red' side than it is their 'Velvet' style. I'm also surprised there's no ballad or slow jam in this album but they did mention that there will be a 'The Velvet' album, so stay tuned!
