my friend liked it on fb, so i thought to check it out. but im side eyeing the whole thing  :wth:

A Korean girl band is making a name for themselves as some of the clumsiest dancers in the nation's phenomenal pop-music scene.

Less than 30 seconds into an outdoor performance on Sunday, the girls from G-Friend were falling over themselves on a slippery stage.

By the time they ran through their four-and-half minute K-Pop hit "Me Gustas Tu", dancing dolls of the six-member group had fallen over nine times.

Each time one of the expertly manufactured performers ate dirt, her band mates helped her up and the well choreographed show continued as though nothing unplanned has occurred.

Perhaps their clumsiness results from a lack of energy, resulting from the strict dieting regime that all K-Pop stars must follow if they want to be a success.

The group has already released two albums since Source Music put them together in January this year.

During a performance in August, band member Umji took an on-stage stumble and was helped up by her fellow singers.

what kind of trashy journalism is this. Ate dirt? really now...

did no one writing this figure out they probably fell over due to the weather

and this was their header for the fb post

K-Pop klutzes - Korean girl band G-Friend members fall nine times while performing one four minute song.

what the hell? :wth: they were dancing on a stage covered in puddles FFS

if anything...the fact that they got up after all those falls and still managed to finish the choreo without even pausing to gather themselves is commendable :/

Why is this even being mentioned in Australian news at all? It's not some intense groundbreaking thing LOL...And why does this dumb article exist? Anyone can tell that the weather conditions were totally NOT IDEAL for performing. It probably has very little to do with strict diets and whatnot in this case.

Full respect goes to this girl group who kept dancing DESPITE their routine turning into a comedy of errors.

If anyone lives in Australia knows that 7news aren't known for their reports outside Australia, they're only known for their daily news show

Why is everyone so pressed here? For pretty much all of the world, this is just a freak incident/funny performance, so of course these articles will be humorous/uncaring. Would you even give a fuck if the same thing happened to a Czech or Albania or Peruvian pop group? It's just an article....written for a 1min enjoyment by the general public. No one cares about the standard of journalism in those articles.
