Have you ever seen a bra strap and furiously masturbated instead of studying?

This is probably the stupidest reason for dress codes. They're there because the school isn't a whorehouse, but like, please do not use boys as a scapegoat. They are not uncontrollable pigs.

If I get sent to the office because my stupid ass bra strap keeps falling down because it's' a piece of shit that won't stay on my shoulder, then we should also ban rocks for looking like boobs.

But dress code aside, there have been many times I've seen people in banana suits and pacman costumes and shit that were tight as fuck and I would totally get distracted by them like does it get sweaty in that, man?

I remember it used to be a trend to hike your thong up as high up as it could go. Or guys who wore pants super low to show their boxers. Or just messy clothing, stuff that looks really ugly, trashy, or has offensive stuff on it. And even, yes, "bra straps". I don't find any of them arousing at all, but I did find them distracting. It's a trashy way to dress, plain and simple. Nobody needs to see your underwear, especially not at school.

If your bra strap is showing, repeatedly, then consider getting a new bra, getting a new shirt, or wearing something on top. It's that easy. I think the mentality that a lot of kids on Tumblr and the likes have right now walks the fine line between combatting some very real sexist standards with regards to school dress codes vs. trying to justify dressing unprofessionally. You go anywhere in professional life and they won't tolerate people dressing up like that. That's not a "school" thing, that's part of normal life that school is trying to train you for.

Honestly, if someone has brought up this issue multiple times with you, and you haven't corrected it, the fault lies with you. My honest opinion.

No, and I say this as someone who's gone to schools where, in the late spring and early summer, everyone's clothes (aside from my own ones) became almost transparent. I heard a couple of professors say things like "this is a school, not a pool!" once or twice, but that's it. What the fuck, it was hotter in that school than inside a concentration camp's crematorium, and the  air conditioning didn't even work.

there was a girl that wore a t-shirt cut up to expose her entire back, and I would glance at her and wonder how she could stand this in late fall temperatures, but I wouldn't say it kept me from paying attention in class more than usual. I'm just a distractable person that wonders about other people too much.

No. Because there's school uniform where I live and everyone wear's the same thing. And really, I couldn't care less what anybody else wears even if there weren't. I think being 'distracted' by people's clothing is one of the most stupid and invalid things on this earth LOL. Like seriously??
