Well their debut was in 2013 which barely got any recognition then they were thrown in the dungeon for about 2 years + a member leaving. So I guess we can still call them rookies.

It would be lovely if this was true but we all know it's not. You have plenty of famous girl groups out there with just one or two members who can sing/rap so it's all about charisma and having the right song and concept at the right time.

I think it's essential for a girl group who has a big hit that skyrockets them into the limelight to have at least 1 or 2 members with skill/talent or a likeable personality and good promotions or they will wither away.

My heart broke for Spica. They're talented, they can sing, but they just can't get popular. Even when Bora went on "The Masked King," she was criticized for her winning (the audience thought Bora's performance wasn't as good as the other contestant, so...)
