Meiqi's Maid 488 Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 So Ive been talking to this guy for a month now, I met him online on the same site where i met most of my korean internet buddies. He added me on snapchat a couple of weeks later and we've not stopped chatting on there since, sometimes i stay up until 3-4am snapping him, he seems genuine like a normal guy his age, he doesnt say anything creepy or weird. Obviously he sends alot of photos because we talk on snapchat, theyre all clearly of the same person and not something that would be posted on a different social media site(as in no filters and not posing or anything like that) but for some reason i cant help feeling he might be catfishing me....Ive asked him to facetime quite a few times since we started talking but he always has a reason why he cant, he lives over 100 miles away from me so its not easy for us to meet up. The other day I asked him to take a picture holding 4 fingers up and he did it without even having to ask twice... I just wanna know is it even possible for him to be a catfish with the evidence ive got for him being real. Although, I don't think he's catfishing you, but it is a bit strange as to why he's avoiding Facetiming with you. How about just telling him how you feel and ask for the truth? fufu 580 Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 I was in a long distance relationship for a while and it took me way longer than a month to be able to facetime/skype/snapchat video with her. And that was because I was really terrified of it. I really dislike my voice and how I look on cameras so to do that took a long time to build a comfort level. Like, I feel as if he may have the same sort of thing, or something similar, so you really just need to be a little patient and get a little closer without forcing it. Good luck!
