On the heels of FTISLAND’s August 31 release of their single “Puppy,†band vocal Lee Hong Ki posted a photo and message to his Instagram, taking what looks like a jab at his agency, FNC Entertainment.

Lee Hong Ki posted a photo of the “Puppy†album page, saying, “It’s a present, ta-da! Hahaha this is for you. It is just a present and all, but our agency’s not doing a single promotion for us. [it’s] dirty and cheap hahaha.â€

According to reports, FNC Entertainment distributed a press release for FTISLAND’s release at 1:30 p.m. KST, after Lee Hong Ki’s Instagram post.

“Puppy†is the Korean version of the title track for FTISLAND’s single to be released in Japan on September 16, and features an happy, upbeat, punky sound from the group.

The song is said to have been inspired from last year’s film “How to Steal a Dog,†in which Lee Hong Ki made a cameo appearance.

is FNC even in charge of their Japanese promotions? hell do Korean labels in general promote their artist's Japanese music at all?

i understand Hongki's beef with his label but this is a Japanese release we're talking about

I guess the japanese label is not managed by FNC but somehow the company is responsible in choosing the label company they affiliate with in japan...and i guess its partly because their koren version was not promoted.
