that second pic. i was kind of expecting a collab but i’m Not complaining. kenzie’s always good. i guess taem was too busy last year to participate in at least lyric writing. also I had to look up who Joshua Scott chasez was to confirm if it were the nsync member and it is!

also re:collabs. i feel like taemin is moderately anti collab when it comes to his own personal albums? he is so focused on 'proving' his own color. letting himself shine. i feel like he will collab in the future but on another artists album or for a special single. waiting on the bewhy x taem collab 2019. 

 

and all i know is the swedish producing teams really popped off lmao. i'm expecting some dance bops.

. It seems like songwriting is what jc chasez is doing nowadays. his name is uncommon so I think that it’s really him. it’s probably an old demo lol. i was trying to see if he’d been involved in any other kpop songs but couldn’t find more info.

you know i’m Not too keen on bewhy anymore after reading about his problematic lyrics. but he said he recorded something w taemin, so maybe it’s for smstation?

Also the jc song- the main composer did ‘give it to me’ by VAV ... which has that Ryan producer who works for SM so I guess that’s the connection. it’s not a Catchy song tho lol

 

My feeling is that Curtis and friends tried real hard to get a song picked but just didn’t fit. Lol

i’m not familiar with the vav song. there are so many composers though. Curtis and them will have more chances. I always wonder how sm apportions their songs.

it aired in sweden in 2012, but it has english subs now ^^ it has a 3 part series, u can see them making songs to send in as demos to SM.

 

 

i don't think mini albums get repacks. i'm more so thinking he will release one or two more albums later in the year.

the fit of this red suit. this and the black tasseled one are my favorites. i hadn’t noticed the pearl earrings. he’s giving us velvet, lace, leather

 

 

yeah sm is pretty conservative when it comes to tour stops

 

the red suit by far.... so far.... is my fav. i think the glove in that look fits the best, the other gloves, the knit one and the other one looks too loose? so im feeling like its gonna bother me during performance...cuz im gonna worry it will fall off 

 

i talked about this on discord but i wanna share it here too. this concept this time does feel like a mix of all his concepts thus far except with an amped up almost unapologetic 'Femme' aspect to it. not sure what the PC way to say it is, but its def 'prettier' than move's adrogynous-- feminine movements with a more beefed up taem feel. he seems tinnyyyyy right now.

the white outfit fits well w move. now that I think abt it pyn also had wide legged pants (with white top). i like what you said about unapologetic femme. i see that. Move’s were def gender neutral but I think the want accessories are what’s pushing it to what you’re probably relating to femininity. i don’t know if the outfits are something also coordinated by the a&r team but they’re brilliant (is this min heejin’s influence). i need her to be replaced w another woman.

You’re in luck. Taemin is her last project before she leaves sm. It was announced a few days ago. Do u not like her work? Or are just tired of it/ want something new ?

oh I know that she’s leaving That’s what I meant by her being replaced. i like her work for SHINee (and f(x)). and you can tell that she is very fond of taemin. what I meant is that she helped him develop into the image that he has now and I hope that whoever replaces her (preferably another woman) will continue to guide him into the direction he’s in now.

Ahh very interesting. I would agree she seems to have an almost motherly fondness towards Taemin and as such has paid special attention. I feel like as much as I would like someone very capable to take her place I really wonder how involved taemin is in concept creation. I know he picks and tweaks all his songs but does he decide his outfits? Accessories ? And I also would wonder how much would change of the essence created if it were a man who took over?

i feel like it must be a synergy of sorts. for example, seeking out koharu was taem’s idea. and the rest of move’s concept seems to revolve around the choreography. but taem has always been androgynous even when he was still coming into terms w it. but now he’s really embracing it and I hope (and think that he does) that he is all the more powerful for it. but for the outfits, i don’t think that he’s as involved as key is, for example. we know how he dresses himself and it’s not as glamorous as his mv looks lol. but he still has to be ok to wear them and he must understand the concepts even if he didn’t pick them himself. as for your last q, i guess it was my bias speaking, i just love that taem is surrounded (and influenced) by powerful women like mhj, koharu, rino

oh for sure, and i def agree. i feel like the impact of Move was really and truly koharu deciding that she could see this natural side of taemin that he's been moderately struggling to except for pretty much his whole life and was just like... lets embrace it. lets create choreo to not only embrace it but say 'yeah, what of it?' and i def wholeheartedly give her credit for that. you can for sure see the diff in move in comparison to press your number and danger which were made by men. i'm all here for the ride and the journey tbh, he has truly come so far and meeting all these interesting people that are going to change and shape him along the way to become someone confident in who he is   my child.   WANT is gonna slay.

I'm a bit late on this but I bought his Japanese album during the holidays which I am loving!  Under My Skin and Eclipse are my favourite of the new songs and Sayonara Hitori and Flame of Love remain amazing!

 

Also I was wondering if he had an Instagram?

hieeeee, yes his newest jpn album is amazing, possible my fav? hmm not sure lmao! but def extremely good. i honestly feel like taemin won't get an instagram lol. i feel like he knows fans what him to make one, but he really would prefer to not have one lol

i advice watching it in the slowest speed. i totally missed the vitruvian man the first time that I saw it

oh i saw that, i was trying to figure out if the two things on the wall behind him while he's in sacrifice pose are targets, and it kind of looks like it, but as the camera pans, the shapes inside the targets change  . the picture of him covering his eyes remind me of 'see no evil' and two girls all wrapped in each other... i honestly have no idea. he's like a vampire demi god or something lmao
