did taem just preview a new song?  i like it so much. it's such an earworm.  and he's challenging falsetto.  which i think is funny because he seems hesitant when he has to use his head voice when singing live lol.  his dancing was nice and sharp. i hope that he gets an opportunity to collaborate with his friends (and other people, too).

 

 

 

i haven't seen this. in fact, i didn't really see a lot of reaction videos to his performances (i wish there were some at mama).  they seemed really proud. some people in the back were enthusiastic, too. one stood up just to watch him.  have you seen any fancams of shinee members?

 

unfortunately no but i guess its bc everyone was focusing on taem. abt the song, i agree-- he said cocktail was too high and they lowered 'already' to fit his range but then he said danger was too low lol, but then he went way high-- i cant see him doing that song live w/o major backtrack. but im curious why he did a new song instead of a bside from his album, seems like a tease, but considering his schedule, at best it would be for a station song-- if they do that next year.

king of dancing to his own songs lol.  i hope that it's part of his future album, but it would be nice as a station song just so that i can download it as soon as possible.    yeah, it took me by surprise that he went that high. kind of reminded me of justin timberlake.  and the lyrics are emo in true taemin fashion.

seeing this gif reminds me that they really cut alot of the parts with taemin and the actress out of his mv. i'm just wondering what they were going for vs what they decided to do. obv they wanted to focus more on taem vs himself, but i can't get that one scene of taem stomping over, grabbing her tied up hands and making her face him out of my head.

Looking at the lyrics and the final MV itself, they wanted to go for that dark concept in which Taemin is some sort of badboy who only thinks about his own desires (they left the obvious money-part). He basically takes everything from her, but then it hits him that she isn't there anymore and he begins to realise what he's done wrong. The rest of it is about him trying to figure out what to do now and I believe that there isn't just one way to see it. After all, I'd say that he loved her very much. Whenever he's there twice, he just sees that every time he didn't treat her right, it had an effect on him too because all of that made her leave him. Also at 3:25... that's the only part that doesn't really make so much sense in this context since they left the background info with the girl (seen in the gif) out. (The ending shows him either erasing those memories, or making an end to himself because he lost what he's loved the most and can't reach it anymore. Both are a new start pretty much.) That's how far my fanfic goes. ;3 xD

I like the MV as it is, but I think that they shouldn't have skipped those parts with her. I assume that they thought they'd risk giving him some kind of bad wifebeater-image or something... 

 

its interesting bc the lyrics r basically just about a breakup that wasnt necessarily messy, but that still lingers... kind of like they just lost touch. yet the mv suggests the girl doesnt even exist which in this case i would assume like u said taem erases all memories of her so that it hurts less but possibly in doing so erases a part of himself? i guess its more thought out than i gave it credit for
