I don't understand where this idea that negs are only reserved for trolls and alike came from. It was implemented to show whether you agree with the post or disagree with it. I am a fan of this saying: Well I mean you are welcome to use the negging and upvoting function however you like but I have no real rules about how I use them and your basis on how you view an argument wouldn't apply to me anyway because idc about how someone builds or presents their argument but about the content of it. If I disagree and I don't have receipts, I'll just move along. Sometimes I will "slap" 'em but that's just it. If I agree, I will upvote 'em.
