Coordi_Oppa 458 Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 why did this game get good reviews? i played it and couldn't last even for 10 hours it was really boring bought it for 60$ and sold it for 30$ what a waste of money graphics were not impressive they are good but not impressive, the story was really boring like there is nothing going on just the main guy trying to find his girl to have sex with her and that kid it was really slow and i couldn't keep up the animation was terrible and combat system is lacking a lot you can't even doge the monsters lol the game is laggy even on the most powerful graphics cards ughhh this game is a mess yet got a lot of good reviews just because of the big open world that has nothing to do in and the long boring story overall there is nothing impressive about this game!! what all the hype is about?? i don't understand. i would rather play Tomb Raider 12 hours of fun is way better than 300 hours of boredom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It came with 16 FREE DLCs, had over countless hours of gameplay and storytelling with a simple and complex combat system. I read what you said and judging by it I doubt you even played it because everyone who did knew exactly what went on. The story is as easy as it gets. Many people who read the original book series claim it's the best adaptation so far (let's forget about horrible tv show and movie). It has this nice slav aura, the story is solid, even side-quests are nicely-written and differ from the usual "pick this, clean that", it has many free DLC and as a fan of books it was really nice to see a Geralt-Yen-Ciri reunion, like really, after all they went through. Because the story is very different from what you described, though one would have to get past the first area to realize that(or do some quick research on the internet) Now the game might not be for everyone and I will admit it was hard to get into at first but once things got going, I really found myself enjoying the game.. Took me like over 120 hours just to finish the main story and don't really regret it but yeah not worth a second playthrough imo. Didn't really like the RPG system either but yeah. And what do you mean you can't dodge monsters? Just use the big roll evade instead of sidestep but yeah combat is pretty underwelming~ Tomb Raider is fun too but unfortunately my save got corrupted like halfway through so I never got to finish it I hope Uncharted has gameplay as good as TR, using the Bow is just so satisfying Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to make use of the Signs and use them to your advantage depending on the enemies you face. The story is great too, maybe it just isn't your type of game idk.
