I already adored Min, but I treasure her even more for being able to love herself even with the constant critics and a society that is so beauty conscious. Keep knowing your worth and beauty girl!

GOT7 released a song that inspired fans and non-fans across the world to tell themselves that they're "Just Right" as they are, even if they have "imperfections" or things that they wish they could change about themselves.

What other idols have promoted self-love/confidence/respect? Have seeing these idols promote this helped with your own self-value?

i do actually love myself more because of my idol but i wouldn't say she actively promotes this. sure she's made comments related to it before and she encourages fans, but the most important thing is that i'm able to easily see that she is human and relate to her. it's more about the feelings; i don't need to hear her tell me to be myself i just know i should because that's what she's doing

^^ummm *nods* insert gsoul when asked abou min lol

But yea, I guess. I do conclude that min I such a role model for me to feel better as myself.

Not only self-respect, min also promotes being honest to herself, and theres things to criticize like my habbits, but things you can't help like...height but you got embrace yourself because no matter whats in the outside, you gotta be pretty inside. So I guess my personality is affect, I feel better about myself.

Also i find my bias usually have like a good positive energy so yes hahahaha.

I think seeing how much my idol has struggled but still works hard and loves herself even amongst the constant negativity has boosted my own self-love. She can do it while being critiqued by hundreds of people so I work harder to be happy about myself.

No worries ^_^

She's so honest and true. I want to shelter her from the hate sometimes.

yeah exactly i focus on the hate comments too (in a good way). it's really hard to understand why anyone would hate my idol in the first place but it reminds me that i'm not any different if someone who i think is pretty much perfect still has to deal with things like this~

Do I accept myself more thanks to my idol? Yeah, I guess I do. Especially in terms of mental strength and how brave I am - I would never discover if not for them. It's not that they are openly promoting it but their existence helps somewhat? idk,

As in terms of how I look - I'm still on the long rocky road to be happy about it - I still have times when I'm having breakdowns because of that but I realised ever since I know them that how I'm "packed" doesn't need to determine what I can do and how much I'm worth as a person. And that keeps me going.

Plus, how uri wise guy Moonchul said:

"...looking at it personally I think being imperfect is beautiful. We ourselves are not perfect, and it can be a disadvantage but also a benefit". And he always says that imperfections are what makes people and things interesting and I guess he is right in that. In the end, looking at the sky, isn't it most beautiful with a bit of clouds?

awww, good saying and yesss to wise moonchul!

that why I love min for her self love and respect for her own body and not what other people got to say.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how people can view you, it only matter how you treat yurself. ^^

:)
