Ron Swanson 6,677
Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch is expected to land in the US in early October, wireless carriers revealed late Thursday. T-Mobile said the devices would launch the device duo to its customers on October 2, while AT&T indicated the pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 3 would ship "around" October 1. However, the phablet will be available on AT&T for $299 with a two-year contract or $35 a month with AT&T Next, while T-Mobile is offering the device for $199 down and 24 monthly payments of $21. T-Mobile said its customers could expect to pay $300 for the Galaxy Gear, while AT&T listed no price and only offered the vague delivery window of in "coming weeks." AT&T began taking pre-orders Thursday evening for Galaxy Note 3, while T-Mobile invited customers to sign up for alerts indicating when the wireless carrier would begin taking orders the new flagship phablet. Meanwhile, Verizon announced Wednesday it would begin accepting pre-orders for the devices at 6 a.m. PT on Friday, although the landing page does not hint at when customers can expect delivery. Introduced earlier this week, the Note 3 sports a 5.7-inch screen -- a slight increase over that of the Note 2. However, the device is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring just 8.3mm and weighing in at 168g. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 3,200mAh battery. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57601640-94/samsung-galaxy-note-3-galaxy-gear-expected-in-early-october/

Chungie 1,215
Ughh I hope Samsung ditches Touchwiz. It srsly takes away from their high processors. And samsung, does a favor and stop being cheap and get a metal case instead of cheap polycarbonate cases.
mistakesweremade 293
Wonder If i should upgrade from a S2 to one of these? Though the thing is big as hell, don' think I need a phone that huge.. Ughh I hope Samsung ditches Touchwiz. I like the polymer cases I've dropped my phone a few times and the polymer never gets scratched. Metal would just get fucked up.

I've a phone with aluminium monocoque case and I've dropped it countless times and it's still not scratched nor dented. Metal cases are equally sturdy, if not more sturdier than the plastic cases. Also an aluminium cases gives the phone more edgier look than the cheap plastic cases. If you really wanna buy a new phone try out HTC One. It's the best phone on the market rn
