It’s a well-known fact that Zendaya has zero tolerance for social media hate and negativity, so it comes as no surprise that the singer-actress recently took time out of her day to put a hater in their place.
It all started when a Twitter user shared a group photo of Zendaya standing between her mom Claire Stoermer and dad Kazembe Ajamu Coleman. The caption reads, “They made a gorgeous ass child lol,†which is a nice compliment to Z.
However, the post went viral and attracted a lot of nasty comments from other Twitter users, including one hater who wrote, “Her parents [are] really ugly I really would cry.â€
Zendaya caught wind of the comment and completely shut down the user by writing a lengthy response that praises her “selfless†parents, who are both educators.
“While you’re so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world,†she wrote. “They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people’s parents on Twitter.â€

First, I’m gonna pray for you. While you’re so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people’s parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicate their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have) So please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook…and while you’re at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you.
