I mean she's the anti-thesis of most commercial pop artists.She writes her own stuff which has depth and meaning as well as the fact that she is insanely talented too, is it because she doesn't sell well? However, Scooter Braun sticks her everywhere, and gets her to perform on these grand stages when she's not exactly accomplished much to even get there. I just find it a wee bit odd because I've never come across that before, she's generally well-liked by everyone I've met that knows of her. I don't hate her and I don't like her, hell I don't even know her really. That's how promotion works, ain't that what K-Pop companies do for their idols? :( Also some times people need that big break to get truly recognized. She's great. But the thing is - she doesn't bring anything new into the table and she's not interesting enough to be a prominent figure in the music industry. And how she is being granted stage to award shows is just undeserving imo. There are far more interesting artists - artists that are more creative, that sell & have loyal fanbases. To them, Schoolboy Records is the YG Entertainment of the West. They hate on Justin, Tori, and Ariana the same way they hate on Big Bang, 2NE1, and Winner.
