The Official Homework Help Thread!

This would be considered the English subject I guess. I need to do a research paper on the Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare. I need help getting started.

The Assignment: For this paper, you have a choice between a number of approaches. You can attend a performance of a Shakespeare play and make an argument about what that performance reveals (or conceals) about the play as a text; or you can research a specific aspect of early modern culture that appears in HamletKing Lear or The Winter's Tale and make an argument about its deeper significance in the play. We’ll discuss options for performances and for research in class. The paper has to be 6-8 pages long.

Which of the following is the weakest?

dipole forces

dispersion forces

hydrogen bonds

ionic bonds

help

911

Weakest intermolecular force is dispersion forces as they only have temporary dipole forces. Give me 10 mins to find my chem notes to give you a proper explanation tho :)

Animal fats are...

solids and have a smaller proportion of unsaturated fats.

solids and have a higher proportion of unsaturated fats.

liquids and have a higher proportion of unsaturated fats.

It's solids & have smaller proportion of unsaturated fats. Do you want an explanation?

Soon I'm going to have an exam that certificates that you speak that language (idk how to say the name in english srry), and while I was doing some old exams there was some questions that I didn't understood well and I do not know if my answers are correct.

If someone could help me please! I would send through a PM the question and my answer!

Thanks!

People from Philippines or anyone... can you help me to get an internal audit checklist and an actual audit? I have to make a narrative report for my Mgt subj.

Rest assured that I won't share the audit to anyone except for my class of 8 people (also my prof haha) and will tell them that it is classified info, if it is. I will take extra measures to protect what you have given me. Because it's really hard to find one from PHIL. All I see are from international.

My report is about Internal Assessment and sub topics are:

1. Nature of an Internal Audit

2. Relationship among the functional areas

3. Management ---- I've found references for this but it is still welcome for help! smile.png Especially, I'm not entirely sure if I got it right

4. Marketing ------ Same with this but prolly right hehe

5. Finance/Accounting ---- I've only got simplified Accounting for this one. lol

6. Product/Operations

7. Research and Development ------ I'm not sure/ don't get this one so I actually need to ask my prof what this means hahaha

8. Computer Information Systems ----- haven't checked yet.

9. Internal Audit Checklist -----badly need this one.

10. The Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE) ----- same lol but I'm sure I can find this one but won't understand the concept because I suck at understanding evaluations.

P.S. It'll be my first time to make a narrative report so business students or anyone, can you give me tips how to write one?

someone help with gauss-jordan elimination

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IM DOING WRONG the numbers are so big there must be a simpler way to do this

the topic is understandable enough but doing it is ehhh

the first matrix is the linear system

THANK YOU

You skipped a step which would have made it a lot easier to solve without all the tricky numbers—look again at your last augmented matrix and you'll see that Row2Column2 is still -1 and you skipped dividing it by -1 to obtain the 1 necessary for the reduced row echelon form and instead went on ahead to Row3Column2.

Here is the solved one btw if you want it (sorry if it's a bit messy lol):

omg i totally forgot that you could simplify and multiply by -1 im dumb lol

btw how do you find the answer by gaussian elimination? is it just like guess and check since gauss-jordan is reduced row? if i made any sense

well actually

isn't reduced row (gauss-jordan) considered row echelon (gaussian) anyways? so the process is the same right? i don't make any sense at all im so sorry lol

lol no I totally get it dw

okay so for gaussian elimination, yes, you basically do the same process as you do in gauss-jordan eliminations, except you're only finding the diagonal of 1's and the 0's below it VS 0's both above and below the diagonal of 1's in reduced row echelon form. So they're still in different forms technically, and what separates gaussian elimination from gauss-jordan is that once you get something like this, for example:

1 4 7 | 21

0 1 3 | 7

0 0 1 | 2

you know what z is, so you plug z into the equation above it to get y, then plug what you get for z and y into the first equation to figure out x and that's how you get the solutions. So it isn't like guess-and-check because you actually know what z is and you don't have to guess, but you do have to do a bit of work to get all the answers.

hope this helps!

First of all, that's very funny, secondly, you can very EASILY find ressources online on youtube or literally websites explaining the concepts better than your best chem. teacher. The concepts you're trying to learn are still very simples, so you have the time catch up.

Ur actually right, I wrote this comment when I was having a mental breakdown at 1 am on a school night , I've started grasping the concept now :,)

Not gonna lie, you also better start developing very strong interest into chemistry, because the class is going way more deeper into chemistry than previous's one, not even close. There's also a fuck ton of math. I don't know how sensible you're, but you may start crying during the middle of the session, but it's fine and you'll need to get over it.

What is the volume of a cube that has an edge of 0.011m?

the answer is 1.3cm^3

Can someone pls explain how rlytearpls.png

are u sure 1.3cm^3 is the answer?

because to calculate the volume of a cube it would l*w*h and since its a cube all sides would be the same so the volume would .011m^3 however since you are converting, there are 100 cm in 1 meter so then you divide your answer by 100 to get cm.

0.011 m is 1.1 cm because 1m is 100 cm so you multiply 0.011 by 100 = 1.1 and the volume is 1.1 ^3 (edges are equal for a cube) = 1.331 cm ^3
