If you divide power measured in watts (1 watt = 1 kg*m^2/s^3) by an acceleration expressed in m/s^2, in what units will the answer be expressed?

Use the fact that the speed of light in a vacuum is about 3.00 ✕ 108 m/s to determine how many kilometers a pulse from a laser beam travels in exactly 3.8 hour(s).

How many significant figures are in the following measurements?

(a) 6000000 m/s

(b) 5.00 ✕ 108 m/s

(d) 0.0128°C

The value of the speed of light is now known to be 2.997 924 58 ✕ 108 m/s. Express the speed of light to each of the following levels of precision.
(a) with two significant figures

(b) with five significant figures

How many significant figures are there in the following measurements?

(a) 53.0  0.4 m

(b) 6.158 ✕ 109 s

A farmer measures the distance around a rectangular field. The length of each long side of the rectangle is found to be 18.33 m, and the length of each short side is found to be 19.4 m. What is the total distance around the field?

Estimate the number of table-tennis balls that would fit (without being crushed) into a room that is 2 m long, 2 m wide, and 12.0 m high. Assume that the diameter of a ball is 3.8 cm.

Calculate the circumference and area for the following circles. (Use the following formulas: circumference = 2πr and area = πr2.)

(a) a circle of radius 2.2 cm

 C = cm

 A = cm2

(b) a circle of radius 6.60 cm

 C = cm

 A = cm2

One cubic centimeter (1.0 cm3) of water has a mass of 1.0 ✕ 10-3 kg at 25°C. Determine the mass of 3.0 m3 of water at 25°C.

 i can help with vectors, physics, and calculus if any one needs help with those

those are the only subjects i am confident in

to find the mean

add everything together and divide by how many there are

30+ 37+ 32+ 39+ 33+ 34+ 32 =237

237/7 =33.9

i meant that i did them without taking 1000000 years

was too lazy to do all of them hehe, does it make sense though?

yea sure :chu:

nice threat, one of the more useful ones in a sea of useless crap

i can help i suppose since i'm a senior this year, i took AP Chem, APUSH and other stuff last year, i'm taking AP Calc & AP Environmental this year

PS: High school senior btw, not university senior, lol, just in case anyone's wondering

I'm gonna be a high school senior also. I've taken most of the standard high school classes for AP/TAG/GT/whatever you wanna call it. Math and history are my forte, but - excuse the lack of humility - I'm pretty good in most subjects, so feel free to ask for help!

Also fluent in Chinese and took that AP test.

Of course, if you guys just need someone to cry about the stress of student life, I'm hurrrr for that too :P

Me rn T_T

I can help people whenever during 2nd semester aka Feb-June.

These are the subjects I can help with: Chemistry, Biology (Bozeman Science will probably be more helpful than me tbh), environmental science, all levels of math up to calculus, English, neuro, apush, micro/macroeconomics (not an expert), and maybe Spanish too (not a native speaker) lel.

Honestly though, Google is your best friend  :imstupid:

If I need help with Spanish Lit. at like 2am, I'll come here I guess  :ohbi:

how to enhance this sloppy HIPP of mine?

Marco Polo:

Historical Context- Marco Polo had traveled through Asia for many years and was now writing about his new discoveries in a book. Some had criticized the book as some parts appearing as fiction but nevertheless, his book captured many readers and gave Europeans a descriptive image of the world outside of Europe. This helps me better understand the document because I know the events in the document would have been seen as very exotic and fascinating to the Europeans reading the book and that the events that happened were of many years ago.

Intended Audience- His intended audience were Europeans who had never gone outside of Europe and so did not know about the world outside of Europe.

POV- The author was Marco Polo who was a young male European at the time of his travels. When he came back many years after, he had new stories about a new culture to tell and enrich others with. His racial background impacted his writings and perspectives because he had never gone out the borders of Europe till the start of his travels and had no inclination to the manners, behaviors, and traditions his travels had led him to see.

Purpose- Marco Polo created his writings to reveal to Europeans what was outside of Europe to see and experience. He created new vivid images of Asia for the Europeans to imagine and think about what else was there to find.

ahh that makes more sense..thank you!~
i love your sig btw
i got the same answer too but did it differently

get rid of the 5 from 3x by multiplying it to 4/3

3x= 4/3 * 5 = 20/3

then divide the 3 from the 3x to get the x by itself

x= 20/9
