My only problems are their cutesy concepts where they lose their spice and sound like every other flower boy concept and their rapper is annoying. It was early 2013 and I was just getting into kpop and since my sister was a huge EXO fan they were one of the first groups I got in contact as well, and I saw some people who were riled up about the rivalry among 2012 boygroups. So I decided to give VIXX a look and at some point in my early life of liking kpop I actually liked VIXX better than EXO. Up till today I still really really love Super Hero, N was a total cutie and that song is just awesome. Voodoo Doll was another song I really liked. But... As they kept on releasing more songs... Idk, I feel many of their song are a bit too similar? Not only within the same album but also across albums. I understand groups need to search for an identity and that's not what I'm opposing to, but... Just see SHINee. All their songs are very clearly theirs, you can tell from the instrumentals alone, and still their albums are quite different from each other. VIXX sound as it is is pretty pleasing and they have many jams, but I wish they could move up a notch and give fans more diversity. I don't really stan them hard now as I almost did in the very beginning because, very honestly... I got a bit bored musically speaking. Although I love VIXX TV and they are all sweethearts and I really think they deserve more recognition!
