Have you ever wished a group to flop because their fans are so annoying?

It has crossed my mind a few times for a few groups I shall not mention.

 

It has crossed my mind for groups i like too.

 

I like the group and the songs usually, but the fans are so annoying that I'd rather see their sales take a hit or them not winning an award show rather than see their fans rub their success in my face.

 

This way I can still enjoy the song in peace.

 

I hope this doesn't make me a bad person =/...

so i would be okay with a group having moderate-little success and sales do well as long as fans dont claim them to be the best ever. because if you do that.... what are you saying about the other groups?

 

OR if a group does reach a high level of success, but their fans are humble and modest about it and are genuinely happy for their success and not comparing their group to another group indirectly for eg:

 

1. they slayed all the other groups

2. #1 sales all kill ALL KILL

3. we beat (insert group name here)

4. (Company name) family ftw

 

This usually doesn't happen  though.

Not really. The artist shouldn't fail because they have shitty fans. I have been put off to certain groups because of obnoxious fans but i've never actually hoped for them to fail.

Not at all. I keep my feelings towards the group and my feelings towards their fans separate.

 

It wouldn't be fair to the group to dislike them because of their fans.

Nope, but the thought has crossed my mind that I wouldn't mind if some irrelevant groups stayed irrelevant because of their fans who keep crying about how they deserve more then other groups who are successful but then I regret it because these groups don't deserve the struggle of idol life when you're not bringing in the won.
