Aw, that really sucks. Especially if your brother is older than you, by a fair bit. It is a tough and sticky situation. You must be worried that your brother will find out, right? If you are, your 'friend' probably is too. In that case, there is no being careful about it. Confront your brother and take the risk. Maybe he will accept the two of you after a long debate and argument.

 

However, if I was you, I would most likely try to keep a distance. We don't have control over where our feelings would waver to but we, or some have the tolerance and will power to tame them down.

Um I don't really have a crush.  The closest thing is my admiration of Chen and my senpai at school.

 

Hot diggity, senpai is really good-looking.  I stalk his Instagram because he's really hot.  He's wasian and has really pretty eyes.  He has a full smile- aka the biggest smile ever.  My friend says he has a nice butt.  Oh, and my senpai works out so ugh his biceps

Damn, you should try and talk to this senpai of yours! Even though he is just your no.1 or 2 source of eye candy at the moment. Totally understand your situation. Lol yeah he knows me, we're in the same class I've talked to him a little bit already. We don't know each other that well though

That's nice! Being classmates always helps. It's a good way to get to know people better.

 

From my experiences in middle school, there was a guy in my class that I had a thing with for about a year. It was funny how it all started...He came back from an overseas trip and then his whole personality changed from being a mild jokester to a hard-working student. Then I saw him at the shopping centre during the holidays and on the first day back he saw me and said "I saw you at _____ during the holidays, do you remember?" I was like "Yeah..." *awkward moment*. He then added me on (the now dead MySpace and the next day he had to state that fact and even greeted me with a "Good morning, Krusty" using my nickname that he must've seen on my little profile. 

 

Lol, sorry for my little recall of memories from ages ago... Anyway, try become friends with him slowly by communicating about school assignments/tests like asking him how he did, then talk about weekends and the usual things. Then from there, try to make regular, normal conversations .
