Jessi killed it, and BN did a really great job with the song and his rap. Not saying Mino's performance wasn't good, it was actually pretty even but I think BN had that plus. REALLY GUYS? leave him alone. dude, straw man much? nobody is saying that he shouldn't have asked taeyang to feature for him the point is that based on how they performed individually, black nut should have won. if mino were to have won based on his own merit alone, nobody would be faulting him. problem is, he relied on his yg connections to win. because mino is from yg, he managed to get taeyang to feature for him, which was what resulted in him winning. this further reinforces the "yg tag" that mino has. He's a legit rapper with great voice, a composer with versatile genre, a lyricist with amazing wordplays. People tend to overlook his talent for his "YG big company backup" & also his "idol rapper" title to see his great talents. He's proving ppl wrong. Did he really rely on YG power on this show? This is the 1st & I also think the last time Mino asked for a YG help (Taeyang). He never once messed up his flow or forgot his lyrics in this entire show. He only made 1 mistake with that one line & got so much blown-up hate train from netizens when other rappers' lyrics, especially Black Nut's were even worse. He's been constantly pressurised & stressed out after that "scandal" and was put in unfair condition when team SanE did the dirty swap before the Diss Battle. BlackNut's attitude during the Diss Battle was so disrespectful and upsetting but Mino controlled himself well to complete his rap. He's been showing respect & playing fair for the entire show. People tend to fault his wins for his popularity & fanbase from his position in WINNER, but seriously those rappers who entire the final rounds are legit well-known underground rappers, too. They have fans, too. Most audience in SMTM are also hiphop fans or even in underground themselves,....they have strong prejudice against idol rappers. If it were because of fanbase, then why did ZiPal team, consisting of Mino & Zico, lost during the diss battle despite all the dirty tricks team SanE played off & on stage for that battle????? The top SMTM4 songs that hit #1 on charts belong to Team Zipal & Mino (Oppa's Car is an exception - that song is quite viral). Mino's name jumped up to #1 spot on Naver search every time SMTM4 aired. All these show how much the public takes interest in Mino cuz without public interest, Digital Power can't be relied on fandom. Also, except for the "scandal", Knets have been praising Mino's rapping skills & lyrics ever since the start of SMTM4. His talents are undeniable. Why is this so hard for ppl to realize that?
