Girls' Generation - Lion Heart breaks records in iTunes

On 18, Lion Heart (Album) took position #5 in Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, reaching the highest position of a girlgroup of the decade and kpop in general (full albuns only)!

After the first day, kpop albums ever plummet, but on 19 the album also reached #5, and has reached #1 daily in 9 countries!

Today (on 20) the album has dropped to the #9, however, remains very well, keeping #1 in 8 countries!

 

The album is doing very well internationally. Congrats!

Daebak! If I had to choose between music that I like and record-breaking sales, I would definitely choose the former... But congrats to SoShi on this accomplishment!

 

At first, I was worried that you were going to say they broke the record for most sales of a K-pop album whose title contains a type of animal and that was released by a group that kicked out at least one member or something like that.  (Though I'm sure they broke that record too.  )
