Hu and Zett are releasing a mixtape in April if I'm not wrong! The facebook post mentioned an April-May debut, but I can't figure out whose debut it's talking about.

You're right Hu & Zett's mixtape release is April and AFOS debut is in April or May.

AFOS has so many logos, if we ever wanted to make a badge there's lots of options.

Haha it says swearing under the logo. Zett & Hu are the two most vulgar members so I'm sure everyone's fully expecting copious amounts of swearing in this mixtape right? In both korean and english too

I feel better knowing some of those songs were for Hu & Zett's mixtape. I kinda figured it was a mixtape material when I heard some of them, but I thought it was just going to be Hu's mixtape with like a Zett feature. I'm pleasantly surprised.

 

Edit : Actually I think we might be wrong about that April/May debut. I think its saying that they will return to doing shows in early April through May and after that they will announce the debut. Hu&Zett's mixtape does come out in April though.

Swearing it's hip hop so it's kind of a common thing to do that, there's no problem with that, plus it's a mixtape.

 

I like the hand/punch logo, it's fierce.

My favorite logo is the pink skull from their fancafe, but that one probably won't look good as a badge.

 

Haha Aknow doesn't swear that much though. I think even Jooen swears more than Aknow.

It seems like Zett swears the most, closely followed by Hu.

In the teaser it says 3 May 2016. What is that date for?

It can't be the release date of the mixtape because who releases a teaser for something 2 months away? Not unless its going to be teaser every week until May or something.

 

I'm confused about these dates so I'll just wait until they post a schedule.

So I guess I should reveal the bad news.

 

I'm sure it should come as no surprise that Beagle Jang Taegyu is no longer a member of AFOS.

 

It was also revealed that Baek Seungheon will NOT be debuting with AFOS. Baek Seungheon will be greeting fans through acting in dramas and movies.

 

 

 

AFOS will be debuting as a team of 4 - Zett, Hu, Aknow, and Jooen.

I just noticed that Aknow follows Lee Minwoo (member of C-Clown) on instagram. The world is small!

Aknow knows everybody. That's why his name is Aknow.

 

Yeah I hope Seungheon is working on something right now because why leave AFOS when there isn't even certainty that he will get much work as a actor? I'm worried because Seungheon seems like he can never pick one thing and go with it. If he wanted to only be an actor he shouldn't have wasted his time in all these groups. I just feel like he wasted so much time doing something he didn't even want to do when he could have been focusing on acting. Its so frustrating because I have made that same mistake in my life (being indecisive and trying to do everything instead of choosing one thing and going far with it, allowing opportunities and time bypass me), so I hate to see other people make that mistake. 

 

I really wish he could do both acting and singing. There are other idols who managed to make it work out, but Seungheon...just when he's getting somewhere he quits it to pursue something else!

 

This behavior is very common in people who are good at a lot of different things. We just want to be jack of all trades but its hard for me to accept that Seungheon is THIS fickle. Maybe this was the plan to begin with. He was never meant to be a permanent member of AFOS, he just did it to get his friends some recognition?

Sorry I haven't been updating the thread like I'm supposed to.

I have been following them still but I just haven't been updating the thread.

 

I'll make a huge update of the OP soon. Lots of changes to make!

They're getting a lot more recognition these days so it definitely makes it easier.

 

My thoughts on their new MV's.

 

 

I think 'How Are You Doing' is a great public friendly song. Changing the lyrics to 'Turn It Up' was a good move although I of course prefer the original. I'm going to be honest, both songs are extremely lacking compared to original, not so much 'How Are You Doing' as much as 'Turn It Up'. Lacking not only in terms of not having the vocalists but even the energy and the impactfulness of the choreography plummeted. However the lives of 4 member AFOS are good. I think MV's might not be good because they were filmed like right after Seungheon left so they didn't even have time to adjust to being a group of 4 and synergize.

Its not their fault though that some people decided to take off, but maybe they should have held off on the debut a little longer and found 1 or 2 new members.

 

Still love them even though I'm disappointed about a few things. I really hope AFOS succeed for Hu's sake. Don't want to see that talent wasted.

 

 

 

Oh and there's an article on Allkpop but I didn't read it. Kinda scared to read the comments.

I feel protective of AFOS.
